Ok, so Steve Weatherford is a punter. But his latest call out in the media that Sean Payton is breaking the rules of his suspension terms reminds me an awful lot of this:             Mind you Weatherford, who happens to be a former Saint, isn't going public with this theory because he has a shred of proof or evidence... he's just theorizing. He's just talking in hypotheticals and creating unsubstantiated rhetoric. For the New York Times to waste everyone's time with something so asinine is laughable. I'm not even suggesting that Sean Payton doesn't somehow communicate with the Saints. I think everyone acknowledges that it's a possbility, even the NFL. But why call out a peer like that unless you have evidence? Actually, why call out a peer even if you have evidence? Congrats, Steve, you are the newest idiot kicker (or punter). This is really nothing new with you, though, using questionable judgement. But I'll tell yo...

Giants players talk Sean Payton

With the team set to face the Saints on Sunday, several Giants players said they find it hard to believe that Sean Payton has had no contact with the team.

Giants punter believes Sean Payton has communicated with Saints

Its speculation, or is it? New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford believes that suspended coach Sean Payton has been sending messages to his former players. Payton was suspended for a year by the NFL after the league found evidence of a bounty system in New Orleans. The coach would face severe punishment if he were caught communicating with any Saint players. The New York Times...

Eli Manning says the Giants have to score more touchdowns

Eli Manning is taking the ‘we’re not far” route instead of thinking things on the offense need to be changed. Manning feels the Giants need to convert in the red zone and not leave points on the field. Manning came up short in his battle against RG3 and that probably doesn’t sit well with him. While he has won 2 Super Bowls, RG3 in three quarters of the season has the entire...

Can the Giants beat Drew Brees and the Saints this coming Sunday?

Once again, the New York Giants are in the same place as always as they are at this point of the regualr season. They are one game up on the Redskins and Cowboys in the NFC East division and they have to beat the Saints in order to stay where they are. And beating Drew Brees is never an easy thing to do. The history of the Giants facing Drew Brees hasn't been ever that good...

Sean Payton Sweepstakes: Four Most Likely 2013 Destinations

As we all know, the New Orleans Saints' staff was tremendously effected by the "bountygate" program they had been running for the past few years. Sean Payton was probably effected the most, as he currently isn't recognized as the Saints' coach, serving a one-year ban from coaching the team. With all that happening to New Orleans in the past offseason, will Sean...

If you want to play in January and February in the NFL, you have to win football games in December. Gameday Prelude: A Tale of Two Quarterbacks

During my short tenure as the Giants writer here at DoubleGSports.com, I have harped on historical reoccurrences during the Tom Coughlin/Eli Manning era. Well guess what ladies and gents; I’m repeating my trend because the Giants have one coming up this weekend. You are probably asking yourself; “what in the world did this pessimistic writer come up with this time?” What I...
