On Saturday, the New Orleans Saints signed quarterback Sean Canfield to the practice squad for the 15th time in a span of 22 weeks. Two days later, Canfield has been released from the practice squad. This marks the 13th time he's been released from the squad, with the other two departures coming when he was signed to the club's 53-man roster (11/23) and offseason roster following the Saints' playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Eight of Canfield's practice squad stints have lasted less than three days.
