Saints Sign Free Agent RB Deshawn Wynn

The New Orleans Saints have signed free agent running back Deshawn Wynn, according to his agent, Christina Phillips. Seeking depth for their backfield, the Saints added the former Green Bay Packers runner to the roster today. Wynn was drafted by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL draft after playing collegiately at Florida. Wynn rushed for 2,077 yards and 25 touchdowns at Florida, but battled injuries with the Packers. He finished his rookie season with 203 yards and four touchdowns, but finished the year on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
