Found November 15, 2012 on Football Nation:
I normally don’t turn off football games despite the score line because there’s always a chance you might miss something truly extraordinary.  Nothing emphasized that point better than the last time the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers met on a Monday night during week 6 of the regular season, as I managed to watch one of the most incredible comebacks in the 2012 season. San Diego put up one of the most dominant first halves in staking up a 24 to 0 lead at the break, but they absolutely crumbled in a second half littered with mistakes on both sides of the ball as the Broncos found their swagger.  The result has catapulted the Broncos to four straight wins since the comeback and control of the AFC West divisional race, while the Chargers have won just one game in their last four, a week 9 win over Kansas City. The Broncos and Chargers meet again in week 11 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in an afternoon battle that could put the Broncos in complete control of their playoff...

Line protecting Manning at league-leading pace

(Eds: Updates with details. With AP Photos.) By EDDIE PELLS AP National Writer It's one thing to block for a quarterback. It's quite another when that quarterback is Peyton Manning, the NFL version of a national treasure. As soon as the Broncos signed Manning in the offseason, the stakes for the Denver offensive linemen rose considerably. For sure, nobody wants to be the...

San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos: Week 11 NFL Pick

San Diego Chargers (4-5) at Denver Broncos (6-3) In my Power Rankings this week I joked, “Why does it feel like the Chargers are going to lose to Denver, fall to 4-6, and then go on their annual late season run, finish 8-8 or 9-7, miss the playoffs barely, and save Norv Turner’s and AJ Smith’s jobs? Oh, that’s right, that happens every year.” Well, I’m not so sure that...
