The 5-9 San Diego Chargers travel to the 6-8 New York Jets for a game with zero playoff implications and that has not been receiving much attention except for the Jets' QB controversy and the Chargers' head coach Norv Turner's long-overdue firing. However, there is some intrigue. Maybe intrigue is too strong a word. Perhaps mild entertainment value is more apropos. The Jets will be starting third-string QB Greg McElroy over the struggling Mark Sanchez and the enigma that is Tim Tebow. Former Crimson Tider McElroy was thrust into the game versus the Arizona Cardinals in week 13 where he went five-of-seven for 29 yards and tossed the game-winning, fourth-quarter, one-yard TD pass to Jeff Cumberland to beat the Cardinals 7-6. Rex Ryan’s decision to start McElroy is a result of Sanchez’s four INTs and a fumble in a 14-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans last Monday night. The Chargers have had their fair share of controversy as well. The burning question of whether Norv Turner and...

Now that reports have surfaced that Norv Turner will be fired as the head coach of the San Diego Chargers, he seemingly has made his peace with the inevitable.
Turner has always been lauded as having an offensive mind and he stated on Wednesday that he can see himself walking into a new situation as the offensive coordinator or as a position coach.

Acee specifically mentions that Jets could have interest in bringing in Turner to run their offense, but adds that “he will not end up in New York.”
It’s been suggested for awhile now that if Turner...

According to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, the New York Jets plan on trading or releasing quarterback Tim Tebow in the offseason. The...
Now that the Mark Sanchez era is over in New York the whole world was chomping at the bits to see who the next starting QB would be. After Sexy Rexy named Greg McElroy the starter over Tebow, ESPN and the internet went nuts.

The New York Jets final two regular season games basically break down to being nothing more than glorified pre-season games (without any kind of glory I suppose). What should a Jets fan root for these upcoming weeks against the mighty San Diego Chargers and the Buffalo “Fredo” Bills?
Greg McElroy - You can’t say at this point it won’t be interesting or mildly entertaining...
The New York Jets have a raging quarterback controversy on their hands. They have been juggling the trio of Mark Sanchez, Greg McElroy, and Tim Tebow all year long. However, they also seem to be concerned about their kicking game as well.Seen here is a Norwegian kicker named Havard Rugland doing some pretty amazing things with a pigskin. So amazing in fact that someone from the Jets...
San Diego Chargers (5-9) at New York Jets (6-8)
Ugh. How am I supposed to pick between these two teams? The Chargers have been incredibly inconsistent and the Jets are a mediocre at best team who has just been eliminated from the playoff race making a controversial move to start a former 7th round pick who has never made an NFL start. There’s a lot of conflicting stuff on both...
