Former Indianapolis Colts defensive end and outside linebacker Dwight Freeney has signed a two year deal with the San Diego Chargers.Well it didn't take too long for the Chargers to grab Freeney. After losing Melvin Ingram for essentially the whole season, the Chargers needed to find a good capable replacement. Although disapointing last season, Dwight Freeney wasn't horrible with the Colts. He did pretty well as a pass rusher and improved as a run stopper. He did struggle with some injuries, but all in all, it wasn't horrible. Freeney could be a good fit for the Chargers. He has a year under his belt in that 3-4 system, he has a good front 7, and he's playing on natural grass in a hot place. That's always good for older pass rushers. Freeney signed a 2 year, 8.75M dollar deal.I wish him the best and thank him for all the great years in Indy!
