Found January 13, 2013 on Football Nation:
The new year frequently brings with it a slew of resolutions made by well-intended people who desire to better some aspect of their lives, whether that be to lose weight, quit smoking, or some other difficult endeavor; however, these plans typically end by the end of January. The same can be said for NFL teams, particularly those with disappointing seasons, such as the San Diego Chargers, who finished a dismal 7-9. With the recent (finally) firing of Norv Turner as head coach and General Manager A.J. Smith, the obvious short-term concern and recent attention has been focused upon their replacements. Former Indianapolis Colts director of player personnel, Tom Telesco, has already been hired as the Chargers' new GM and the team is currently interviewing potential head coaches, but aside from this, the Chargers must focus upon other aspects in order to restore their competitiveness in the league.
