According to a recent post from the Sacramento Bee, the San Francisco 49ers may be interested in free agent wide receiver Randy Moss.
“Everything’s in play,” 49ers general manager Trent Baalke told the Bee. “I mean, we’re going to take a look at all our options. … We’re not going to rule anybody out.”
In addition, when asked whether the team would give up a draft pick to sign restricted free agent Mike Wallace, Baalke said the team isn’t “going to rule anything out – trades, free agency, drafts, needs. We’re always trying to improve the roster. And that’s something we’re committed to. So if there’s a move we can make, whether it’s picking guys up off the street, whether it’s signing some free agents from other if it’s signing some free agents from other teams, going after a restricted free agent, drafting … nothing’s off limits.”
Wallace, 25, caught 72 passes last season for the Steelers, including eight touchdowns. Moss, 35, did not play last season.
