San Francisco vs. Seattle Betting?
Headline: Seahawks Look to Remain Perfect at Home; Host Division Foe San Fran in Week 16
The Seattle Seahawks return home this week after marching into Toronto and registering their second straight convincing 50 point performance. Their task this week – to beat a San Francisco team that beat the New England Patriots in impressive fashion in Week 15 and a team that can lock up the NFC West with a win on Sunday.
Seattle has outscored their opponents 114-17 in the last nine quarters of play – they are scorching Hot and peaking at the right time on both sides of the ball.

The San Francisco 49ers proved a point on Sunday night, didn’t they? Going into Foxboro in December and winning has been virtually an impossible task for any team the last few seasons! The 49ers, if not for the St. Louis Rams, would have the best record in the NFL.
But thanks to the Rams, San Fran finds themselves in a fight for the division crown.
San Francisco is certainly a far more balanced offense since Colin Kaepernick supplanted Alex Smith at quarterback. They have the 26th ranked passing game that has improved immensely with the “play action” threat with Mr. Kaepernick at the helm.
The 49ers’ second ranked running game has also improved since Kaepernick has taken the reins – he and Frank Gore are matchup nightmares for anyone at the moment.

The San Francisco defense gave up some yards and some points last week to the Patriots but there is no doubting their status as one of the best in the game; Seattle will definitely have their hands full this week. The Niners are fifth against the pass and third versus the run.
They give up just 15.57 points per game – best in the NFL.
The Seattle Seahawks are smokin’ hot; two straight 50+ point games have them with their playoff fate in their own hands. The Hawks’ offense is finding new ways to impress every week and the defense has continued on a path toward elite status.
Seattle has remained a run-first team, third in the NFL in that department with an average of 160.1 yards per game. Russell Wilson has enhanced an already strong rushing attack; he alone scored three times on the ground in Toronto last week.
With Marshawn Lynch and Wilson lining up behind center, the Seattle offense resembles the 49ers attack with Kaepernick and Gore!
The Seattle running game is strong – we know that. But the Hawks have become effective and efficient in the passing game as well. Seattle is 27th in the NFL in passing but they are much better than their ranking suggests.
Sidney Rice has been consistently good the last two months and Golden Tate continues to be the big play threat that every contender needs.
Seattle’s defense is certainly on par with the 49ers; they are second behind San Fran in points against with an average of 15.64 surrendered per game. This unit is 10th against the run and 3rd versus the pass.
At home, the defense is even better with the 12th man aiding their cause.
Dave’s Won’t Cost You Anything Free Betting Prediction:
A few trends to consider:
• The total has gone OVER in 5 of San Francisco’s last 6 games
• San Francisco is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games
• San Francisco is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games on the road
• San Francisco is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games when playing Seattle
• Seattle is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games at home
• The total has gone OVER in 6 of Seattle’s last 7 games
• Seattle is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games
• The total has gone OVER in 14 of Seattle’s last 20 games at home
Seattle is money at home – period! I just can’t talk myself into betting against them this weekend. The Hawks are clicking on both sides of the ball and although the 49ers offer up an incredible challenge on both sides of the ball, I think Seattle can score enough to win this one. Seattle’s home crown will be a factor too – expect the 12th man to rattle the 49ers young QB into a couple of mistakes.
Take the home team to make things very interesting in the NFC West!
Pick: Seattle Seahawks +1

While some people might think this is cute. There’s just something weird about watching a little around the age of four with fake tattoos rap about a football player. I’m probably the only person that feels this way. Anyway, whoever produced the video did a nice job.
