Continuing on with our look at the Patriots 2012 schedule and predictions, here is my take on Games 9-12 of the season...   Week 10:  vs. Buffalo Bills In the handful of years where the Bills have come out to a hot start, this is generally around the time when they fall right off the cliff.  The Bills are really going to have to show me something before I pick them to win on the road in New England, something they have failed to do since November 5th, 2000. Record: 8-1   Week 11: vs. Indianapolis Colts Brady vs. Luck I.  I expect a much improved effort from the Colts this year, but I just can't see them toppling a team like New England, on the road to boot.   As for the whispers I've been hearing about whether the Patriots would consider trading Brady for Luck (purely a hypothetical argument to spark debate), I have to lean firmly on the "keep Brady" side.  I see the argument for Luck's longevity compared to Brady's, but somet...

Tim Tebow Could Be Most Important Player In NFL History

Tim Tebow is a backup quarterback for the New York Jets. In this role he is miscast as badly as he could possibly be.He does not have the skill of a four-down NFL quarterback. If you think about it this situation is as silly as Christopher Walken as Rocky Balboa.Christopher Walken won an academy award two years after Rocky came out when he starred in The Deer Hunter. My point is Walken...

“Tim Tebow On a Mission” Documentary Review

Tim Tebow “On a Mission” Documentary A few days ago, a guy named Josh reached about to me about a new documentary about Tim Tebow entitled “Tim Tebow: On a Mission”. Josh, who is the PR manager on the film was nice enough to grant me a full-access sneak peak to the film, which I watched in full. “Tim Tebow: On a Mission” is actually being released to the public on September...

Jim Kelly has no idea why the Jets brought in Tim Tebow

Yet another former NFL player was critical of the New York Jets’ decision to trade for Tim Tebow. And where did this former NFL player do his criticizing? You guessed it, the Boomer and Carton show. We’ve chronicled how a couple days after Boomer Esaison caught some flak for his comments that “he would cut Tebow”, Howie Long showed up on the Boomer and Carton show saying...

NFL News: QB Boomer Esiason comments on Tim Tebow, again

New York Jets QB Tim Tebow has received his fair share of criticism and attention this offseason. Some of the criticism has come from former NFL players which shared Tebow’s position, quarterback. How did Mark Sanchez react to the news that the Jets had acquired Tim Tebow? Maybe not quite as well as we've been led to believe.

Mark Sanchez cracks ‘joke’ about Jets owner’s pro-Tim Tebow comments

Sigh. Another day, another chapter in the Mark Sanchez-Tim Tebow-New York Jets-Quarterbacking-Conundrum saga. According to a report from the New York Daily News, Sanchez cracked a joke about Jets owner Woody Johnson’s pro-Tebow comments last week when the man who signs Sanchez’s paychecks said, “I think you can never have too much Tebow.” Proclaiming later that [...]

10 Things I Expect to See This NFL Season

The following are 10 things I expect to see throughout this year’s 2012 NFL season. 10. Tebow will steal Sanchez’s Thunder All Season Long Tim Tebow may only make one pivotal play that converts a difficult redzone opportunity for a score, but it will be enough for many to call for a QB change all season. Mark Sanchez is about to become the unappreciated housewife of the New...

Tim Tebow leads the Top Five story lines for the 2012 NFL season

  1. When will Tim Tebow start for the New York Jets? If you believe that Jets owner Woody Johnson signed Tim Tebow just for the wildcat offense, then there's a bridge down the street he wants you to buy, too. No. The Jets signed Tebow to light a fire under Mark Sanchez. Sanchez wears asbestos underpants. If he feels the heat, he's not showing it. Mr. Sanchez...

Mark Sanchez Was 'Rattled' by Jets' Trade for Tim Tebow, According to Santonio Holmes

The Jets haven't even opened their regular season, the circus is already in full effect. It was a move that garnered plenty of fanfare, while also putting some pressure on incumbent...

'Super' Mario eager to make Bills debut vs. Jets

Mark Sanchez or Tim Tebow, play-action pass, run or wildcat formation: Mario Williams isn't worried about what the New York Jets might have in store for the Buffalo Bills defense this weekend. Whatever it might be, the defensive end can't see how it'll blunt the Bills' new-look and high-priced pass rush. ''No,'' Williams said, repeating the word...

New York Post paints New York Jets as sad clowns

Finally, someone has perfectly captured the utter circus that is the New York Jets.  Leave it to the New York Post to finally remember which New York team is the defending Super Bowl champs... and which New York team scores more points with their mouths than on the scoreboards.  Yea, yea, yea, we know Rex, this is the best team you've ever coached, yada, yada, yada...

The 2012 Jets season will represent the end of the deliberation on multiple topics within the court of fan opinion. Dubbed the “Sanchize” when he was drafted out of USC after only 1 year as a starter, there’s been...
