According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL has questioned the Washington Redskins to find out when they believe Robert Griffin III will be able to play next season so they can schedule their nationally televised games accordingly.
Schefter also reported that it’s a “near certainty” that Griffin will start out the 2013 season on the PUP list.
It would make sense for Griffin to be placed on the PUP list. The last thing the Redskins want to do is rush him back and he ends up tearing his knee up for a third time.
