While former teammate and alleged BountyGate co-conspirator Jonathan Vilma is busy fighting both his suspension and the commish, Scott Fujita maintains he’s got a bum rap.
On Tuesday, Fujita told the Associated Press that he’s innocent of any bounty allegations, despite knowing first-hand what actually took place within the Saints’ supposed pay-for-performance system.
Fujita, who was suspended three games by commissioner Roger Goodell, is appealing his ban and hopes to be cleared because “my reputation is a lot more important to me than three game checks. My track record speaks for itself.”
Ironically, Fujita is an executive member of the players’ union, so he’s more than aware of the firestorm this story has brought upon the league. He also hinted strongly that the full truth has yet to be heard.
“There will come a time when I’ll be willing to share everything,” said Fujita.

Scott Fujita: Gregg Williams Tape 'Wasn't Evidence of Anything,' Just 'a Coach Saying Some Inappropriate Things'

Browns’ Greg Little to have a breakout year?
The Browns’ offense might have been the most devoid of playmakers of any team in the league last year. They changed that this offseason by adding one of the draft’s most dynamic playmakers, Trent Richardson, and upgrading their starting quarterback from Colt McCoy to Brandon Weeden. If you ask the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns also have one more dynamic...
Cleveland Browns Scott Fujita: A man on the inside.
When the Watergate scandal broke, one of the results of the fallout was the tarnished reputation of the office of the Presidency. When the steroids scandal from Major League baseball broke into the headlines, records such as the single season homerun record lost all of its importance. Now the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal appears to be doing the same to the NFL. But one player...
Browns Fans: Don't Kid Yourself, Brandon Weeden IS The Guy.
This isn't anything new to the average Cleveland Browns fan, but Brandon Weeden will start on September 9th against Mike Vick and the Phillidalphia Eagles. There has been plenty of speculation on whether this QB competition was "real" or not. And it's totally 100% not "real". Yes, Colt McCoy took the first initial snap of the OTAs this morning but that...

Colt McCoy takes first team reps
According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, quarterback Colt McCoy took some first team snaps during Tuesday’s practice. This isn’t a surprise since the Browns still haven’t named a starting quarterback going into the 2012 season.
