Ride The Pine:
Pump fake and spin move?
Either the Vikings defense stinks or Green Bay Packers QB Scott Tolzien is the next Steve Young.
Tolzien has been impressive since being moved from the practice squad to the active roster when Aaron Rodgers was hurt with a clavicle injury in the beginning of November.
Pretty cool story for a guy that was getting paid $6k on a week-to-week basis at the start of the season. Now making a base salary of $544,999.

A big question mark for the Green Bay Packers has been the back-up quarterback spot this season. It's the one you never want to use, but you better be ready to do so if something happens to your No. 1 guy. With moves like what Scott Tolzien shows here he just might be the back-up answer the Packers have been looking for. From Bleacher ReportHe's got talent, but he might still...
It may have just been a 6-yard touchdown run by the Packers’ Scott Tolzien, but man, did he ever make the Vikings defense look silly with the spin move he put on them Sunday at Lambeau Field.

PGreen Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said onday that Aaron Rodgers chances of playing in Detroit against the Lions on Thanksgiving are “slim to none.” “He’s got to practice,” McCarthy said of Rodgers, who broke his collarbone on Nov. 4. “There are some physical rehab hurdles he has to get through that he hasn’t reached yet. It would be a huge stretch for him...
Injuries can cripple a fantasy football team, so can busts for that matter. And there has been plenty of them both, too many to actually count to be honest. But the waive wire has had some really solid additions throughout the weeks that could easily have assisted you.
Just last week Bobby Rainey (TB) ran for more than 160 yards being the best pick up for the week. A few weeks ago...
In a month filled with injuries, woeful defense and special teams play, questionable play-calling and losses, the Green Bay Packers topped it all off yesterday with a rarity in football: a tie. But not just any tie. A tie with -- wait for it! -- the Minnesota Vikings. The 2-8 Vikings.Ewwwwww.Which, as many pointed out afterward, is like kissing your sister. And not your hot sister...
Scott Tolzien throws a better ball than Matt Flynn. He runs better too. While the young quarterback may have more upside, Flynn should start until Aaron Rodgers returns.
After flopping in Seattle, Oakland, and Buffalo, Flynn showed on Sunday that he can play, at least in Green Bay. The veteran calmly mounted a Packers comeback that resulted in a 26-26 tie.
Tolzien showed his athleticism...
