As we profiled on Buffalobills.com late last week, Bryan Scott was handing off a pair of Super Bowl tickets to the person that best displayed their passion as part of his ‘Show your Dedication’ contest on his twitter account. Here’s Bryan handing off his Super Bowl tickets to Sunday’s game to winner and Bemus Point, NY native Lauren Kendrick, age 12.             For Kendrick, a devoted ballerina, Super Bowl XLVI was the first pro football game she ever attended in person. She also donated the $5,000 in prize money back to her dance studio.

Bell, Searcy earn praise

The stat crunchers and film reviewers at Pro Football Focus took a closer look at who was “trending” up this season in the AFC East this past season and Buffalo has two players singled out for some praise. In their AFC East write up in the category of most improved was OT Demetrius Bell. Granted he missed eight games with a broken collarbone, but by their evaluation standards...

Lindell a 'Buffalo' guy

Bills place-kicker Rian Lindell, who officially signed his new contract, says that even after 12 years in the NFL, he never dreams about what it would be like to kick in the comfort of a domed stadium. "A couple weeks ago it was windy and not the best day, and I thought, “this is football weather,'" Lindell told The News today. "This is what it’s supposed...

Chandler on Big Pete’s to-do list

Bills new tight ends coach Pete Metzelaars literally hit the ground running on Tuesday. Here’s a look at some of the first few things on his to-do list knowing he hasn’t been back on a day-to-day basis since 1994. “The first thing is I’m trying to figure out where to go in the building and not get lost and how to get in the building (laughs),” he said. ”Next is to find...

Bertchtold has worked in the NFL for 27 years and just completed his 23rd year with the Bills. He has held a vice president title since 1999. Lindell 1-on-1

Here is our exclusive 1-on-1 interview with Rian Lindell just minutes after he signed his new multi-year contract with the Bills late Tuesday morning.

Metzelaars: I was worst kept secret

The Bills hiring of new tight ends coach Pete Metzelaars might’ve been one of the worst kept secrets. Though Metzelaars instructed his family to keep quiet until he signed his contract with the club Tuesday, some of the former teammates from the early 90′s had other ideas. “(Steve) Tasker started the whole deal making it the worst kept secret in Buffalo,” Metzelaars told...

Bills re-sign Lindell; Metzelaars back as coach

The Buffalo Bills have re-signed kicker Rian Lindell. And there's another familiar face returning to Buffalo after the team hired former star Pete Metzelaars to be their tight ends coach.

Going back to the 4-3 defense is a good move for the Buffalo Bills.

Recently one of my friends  asked me my thoughts on the Buffalo Bills going back to playing a 4-3 defense rather than the 3-4 system they had implemented. For the football lingo impaired, a 4-3 means there are four linemen and three linebackers, as opposed to the 3-4 which has three linemen and four linebackers. Anyway, back to the question, I told him I thought the Bills should...

Searcy chops dreds

Knowing football players can be tough to recognize with all the time they spend in helmets, it might not be a big deal, but Bills safety Da’Norris Searcy has changed his look (haircut). Searcy chopped off all of his dreadlocks that he had during the 2011 season. Here’s his twitter avatar as proof.     One note, the last Bills players to completely shed their dreadlocks was...
