The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with fourth-round draft pick DT Jaye Howard according to a report from ProFootballTalk.com. Howard was one of just two Seattle draft picks that had yet to agree to deals. Seattle's other fourth-round pick, Utah State RB Robert Turbin, is the only draft pick without a deal. Seahawks’ rookie Winston Guy could be a steal
Despite the fact that the Seattle Seahawks already have two good safeties in Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas, they drafted former Kentucky safety Winston Guy in the sixth round of this year’s draft.
Despite being selected in the sixth round, the Seahawks coaches believe Guy can step in right away and serve as their nickel safety.

Get to know Jaye Howard
The Seattle Seahawks wheeled and dealed their way through the 2012 NFL Draft. They started the draft with 6 picks, including no pick in the 5th round. After trading down in the first and second round, they acquired their 4 extra draft picks and were primed to make a run at the later rounds.
As we all know, they have found great success in later rounds.

Seahawks' QB battle gets under way in earnest
The competition for the starting quarterback job officially is underway with the beginning of the team's offseason program. And head coach Pete Carroll will get his first...

Seattle rookies Wilson, Irvin get 1st day of work
Russell Wilson stepped in behind center for the first minicamp of his professional career on Friday and never left.
The Seattle Seahawks are making sure they get a long look at Wilson this weekend while the Seahawks' veteran quarterbacks are not around.
Most of the attention during the first day of Seattle's rookie minicamp was centered on Wilson, the talented, but undersized...
Seahawks DE Bryant still has something to prove
Just because Red Bryant is comfortable doesn't mean the Seahawks defensive end is satisfied.
With a four-month-old son at home, Bryant is happy to have the security of the new five-year contract he agreed to with Seattle in March. But Bryant still feels that he has plenty to prove on the field.
''You've always got something to prove,'' Bryant said. '...
Seattle Seahawks quarterback statistics are fun…#15 Matt Flynn
NWSB Insider and Seattle Seahawks blogger Brett Bivens has a few things he has to see from Matt Flynn in 2012 before he projects him for greatness in the blue and green. In Flynn he wants to see a quarterback who is able to read a football field, a guy who can look at a defense before the snap and make pre-snap adjustments. After the snap he wants to see quick reads, and a quick release...
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll Impressed With QB Russell Wilson's First Day Of Practice
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll expected quarterback Russell Wilson to have a handle of the playbook when minicamp opened Friday, and he didn't disappoint. Wilson took every snap during team drills and had a full grasp of his responsibilities. I don't think he had a missed assignment, Carroll said. He was remarkably sharp for the first day. He took every rep...

The Draft Is Over, It's Time to Talk About Something Else
Today, the Seahawks are holding their rookie minicamp, and that means a lot of things. For one, it means we have an actual offseason to look forward to this year. Most years that wouldn’t be much of a reason for celebration, but after last season’s protracted lockout during the collective bargaining agreement negotiations I doubt any of us are going to be taking these camps...
