Even though Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice is not expected to participate during offseason minicamps after undergoing surgery on both shoulders this offseason. General manager John Schneider told the local media “this is the healthiest he’s going to be since he’s been a professional.”
The Seahawks need Rice to live up to the five-year $41 million contract they signed him to last offseason if they’re going to get the production they need out of whoever starts at quarterback.
