After the Seattle Seahawks sent a message to their opponent last week, Marshawn Lynch may want to do the same to his former team. Lynch and the Seahawks try for their fifth victory in six games Sunday as they head to Toronto to face the Buffalo Bills, who appear bound to miss the playoffs for the 13th consecutive season. Although the Bills' ground game has been strong thanks to C.J. Spiller's emergence, Lynch has turned into one of the league's most consistent backs since Buffalo traded him to Seattle for a pair of draft picks in October 2010. He ranks second to Adrian Peterson with a career-high 1,266 yards this season, and he needed only 11 carries to accumulate 128 yards and three touchdowns in last Sunday's 58-0 drubbing of Arizona. The Bills chose Lynch 12th overall in the 2007 draft out of California and he surpassed 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons, but he fell out of favor after that and Buffalo only got a fourth- and a fifth-round pick for him...

Seahawks to wear alternate “wolf grey” uniforms in Toronto

Nike The Seattle Seahawks will be wearing their alternate “grey wolf” uniformswhen they travel to Toronto to play the Buffalo Bills this coming Sunday. While a lot of people aren’t crazy about the Seahawks’ new uniforms, I don’t have a problem with them.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'...

Pete Carroll channels his inner Bill Belichick: “We wanted to finish the game”

Pete Carroll found himself in a position of either taking his foot off the pedal or go full throttle. Carroll decided to go full throttle on a wilting Arizona Cardinals team that was utterly defenseless. If this was a boxing match, the referee would have jumped in waving his arms. The Seahawks beat down the Cardinal 58-0 and while Carroll is the toast of the town in Seattle, Ken...

Report: Richard Sherman's appeal will be pushed back, will play Sunday

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was supposed to hear his appeal on his 4-game suspension on Friday, but a source familiar with the case said it likely will be delayed until the following week, according to Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports.

Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was

Beat down in Sea-Town Holy cow! That was one hell of a game last Sunday. The Seahawks took the first takeaway of the game and just ran with it, never looking back en-route to 7 more takeaways on the day, and a record 58 points scored. There have been multiple joke pictures and tweets floating around cyberspace ever since the end of the ballgame, so I thought I would include a couple...

“Idiots” Running the Jets Re-sign Idiot Named Braylon Edwards

You thought the expression was “Misery loves company.” Well apparently, idiocy does, too, because the Jets have claimed Braylon Edwards off of waivers from the Seattle Seahawks. Either the Jets’ front office pays no attention to social media (yeah, right) or they think that Edwards has spent his off-time being retooled a-la Steve Austin into a better, faster, stronger receiver...

Seattle's 2012 draft class paying off on the field

(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By TIM BOOTH AP Sports Writer Everyone knows about Seattle stealing quarterback Russell Wilson in the third round of last April's draft and perhaps finding the franchise quarterback so many NFL teams seek. But he's not the only rookie the Seahawks drafted in April who is making a huge impact. From defensive end Bruce Irvin...

Seattle Seahawks shaping up to play the 49ers for all the NFC West marbles in week 16 (playoff picture week 15)

Just a few short weeks after it appeared that the suspensions of the top two cornerbacks would derail the Seattle Seahawks playoff hopes they look every bit the part of a contender and potentially a division champion. Seattle has won two games in a row including a convincing win over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field which allows us to assume they'll handle the Bills on the...

Seattle Seahawks: Week 15 NFL Power Rankings (#6)

Last week: 10 (+4) Record: 8-5 Net points per drive: 0.61 (5th) DVOA: 38.8% (2nd) Weighted DVOA: 43.1% (2nd) The Seahawks will control their own destiny to the #2 seed if the 49ers lose in New England this weekend and the Packers lose 1 more game. That’s very possible and if that happens, they’ll just need to win out and two of their final 3 games are at home, where they look...

QCS Buffalo Water Cooler: Lynch Returns To Take On Former Team

This weeks Water Cooler features QCS writers Mike Bundt, Ryan Talbot, Brandon Hess, and Ryan Talbot Mike Bundt: What’s up everybody! Let’s get into business right away. The Bills lost in disappointing fashion Sunday, falling to the Rams 15-12. Watching the game, it was clear to me that Buffalo was the more talented team but ended up blowing it in the end. How disappointed should...

49ers Head to New England With NFC West Lead in Danger

The Seahawks find themselves with a prime opportunity to close the gap in the NFC West should San Fran lose to the Patriots in Foxborough in Week 15.

One Game At A Time For The Seattle Seahawks

Do you remember the game the Seattle Seahawks played against the Cardinals on Sunday? You know the 58-Nil beat-down handed out by the defense and Marshawn Lynch? Yeah, you might as well forget about it. I say this for two reasons. The first is that in a game like that, where everything goes your way, it doesn’t tell you much about who your team is. The defense absolutely dominated...

Know your enemy: Seattle Seahawks

The Bills are playing the Seahawks in Toronto on Sunday. No one from Toronto to Syracuse really cares. The season is done. Meaningless football is a seasonal occurance just like leaves changing colors and snow hitting the ground. However, I still like doing Q&As with other bloggers who happen to cover a team that doesn't suck. So this week, we have Matthew over at Seattle...
