I’ve officially heard it all. Seahawks CB Richard Sherman, who faces a four game suspension for violating the NFL’ s policyon Performance Enhancing Drugs, claims that he drank the Adderall that led to the suspension. The USA Today writes: Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, suspended for four games for violating the NFL’s doping policy, says he unknowingly ingested Adderall prescribed to a teammate, according to a person informed of Sherman’s explanation. The person, who spoke to USA TODAY Sports on condition of anonymity because neither Sherman nor his agent have discussed the details of the case publicly, said Sherman says he accidentally drank from a bottle into which a teammate poured a crushed Adderall pill. The person said the teammate is permitted to take the drug under NFL rules because he has a prescription. Okay, I can understand that, but I’m not buying it. Was the same bottle of Adderall passed around the locker room to Brandon Browner, too? Two Seahawks’ CB’s have odd stories on how Adderall came about their failed PED tests. (Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE) Brandon Browner was also suspended for the same crime, but his claim is different. He didn’t drink his Adderall, but rather watched one of the officials pour urine from one container into another – breaking protocol. So, one player drank his Adderall, and another is claiming that a testing official botched the tests? Okay then. Both Browner and Sherman are appealing their suspensions, and will be able to play against Chicago while the appeals are heard. Until then, they’ll stick to their stories. The appeals for both players will be heard early next week, according to reports. With the NFL cracking down on Adderall (which has become increasingly popular with NFL Players) several players have been handed suspensions. Some suspensions more expensive than others. Buccaneers CB Eric Wright can attest to that, as he can potentially lose up to ten million dollars for his taking of the drug. Funny how that accidental Adderall didn't help them figure out the motion scheme Miami was running. All they had to do was switch from Cover-2 to Cover-3 and eliminate the stupid corner routes behind Chancellor.

Mr. Football-Himself aka Ninja82 .. I will step in and tell you why not.: Because they 'ingested' the Adderall back in September so it didn't help them do your suggested 'great professional move' last Sunday! And btw: Miami is a joke; they just got lucky for ONCE! Can they beat out the Brady Bunch? NOPE!

I'm not saying their excuses are legit, but if I was their coach I wouldn't object to them appealing the suspensions just before the "biggest game of the year". And yeah, Miami got pretty lucky on Sunday. A win is a win, but it was definitely another off-game for the hawks...which is a pretty common occurrence for them on the road.
