Pro Football Weekly hears there's no denying the Seahawks' disappointment with free-agent addition Robert Gallery. Although knee and groin injuries that have forced him to miss four games have been part of the problem, sources on the scene believe he hasn't been as good as backup OLG Paul McQuistan when healthy enough to play. Said one team source, "(Gallery) really had only one good game the first half of the season."

Brace yourself: David Hawthorne explains why no TD

Say this for Seahawks linebacker David Hawthorne, he wasn't caught by the kicker. He was, however, dragged down from behind by a quarterback. Teammate K.J. Seahawks inactives: WR Butler out

The Seattle Seahawks activated receiver Deon Butler off of the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list this week, but he will not be active today against Baltimore, as the Penn State product continues to try and shake the rust off. Penalties and the Limits of Statistical Analysis

I'm pretty sure this isn't news to anyone, but penalties have been killing the Seahawks.  False starts, neutral zone infractions, defensive pass interference, unnecessary roughness -- you name it, the Seahawks have been penalized for it.  According to Pete Carroll and others, the reason for the increase in penalties this season is the team's youth and lack of experience...

Seattle Seahawks upset the Baltimore Ravens in Ravens fashion

Unfortunately, for Baltimore, the Ravens (6-3) could not pull off another 4th quarter comeback win as they traveled to Seattle (3-6) and were upset by the Seahawks 22-17. Three keys to Seahawks victory 1. Protect Tarvaris Jackson. After giving up just one sack in Dallas last week, the Seahawks no longer rank last in the league in sacks allowed. Pre-snap read: Ravens-Seahawks

After beating the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend, the Ravens have touched down in Seattle, where they will play the Seahawks on Sunday afternoon. The Seahawks were a playoff team a season ago (mostly by default, though, because they won the woeful NFC West with a 7-9 record), but they have won just two games in 2011.
