Pro Football Zone:
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told the media today that they expect left tackle Russel Okung to play this week.
Pete Carroll said the expectation is that Russell Okung will play this week, though his toe will probably be an issue the rest of the year.

BEST OF MAXIM
The more they showed the replay, the more obvious it became that the ball first touched the ground, and not the forearm of Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin. The ruling on the field that it was an interception defied both vision and physics, effectively ending the game that was otherwise very good. I understand the call in real-time, but it is inexcusable to miss it under review.
Richard Sherman is at it again, I love this guy because he tells the truth. Sherman obviously is not a big fan of having the Super Bowl in New Jersey/New York. A matter of fact, he wants the NFL to have the Super Bowl in Seattle, around a true group of fans and city. Here’s […]
For the Seattle Seahawks fans waiting to see more of rookie running back Christine Michael, you may have to keep waiting.
“He’s working his way in and we think he has great promise for the future,” coach Pete Carroll said of Michael Monday on 710 ESPN Seattle radio. “But he’s still a young guy trying to break in.”
In other words, Carroll is going to stick with veteran...
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was asked if they may end up making a roster move with wide receiver Percy Harvin, per Seahawks.com. Asked whether or not the team would need to make a roster move with ailing wide receiver Percy Harvin (hip), Carroll said, “That may happen.” Yesterday, Carroll said Harvin would not participate in practice this week. If the Seahawks end up making...
Today, Pete Carroll was very blunt when speaking about Percy Harvin. Harvin was a very big free agent acquistion in the beginning of the year, but he really has not been an option for the red-hot Seahawks. Well today when coach was asked about the odds of Percy Harvin going on the I/R to fill […]
Responding to such Seahawks fan mischief as the 12th Man buying a commemorative brick at the 49ers’ new stadium and flying a banner over Candlestick Park when the teams met in December, San Francisco fans raised enough money to put up a billboard in Seahawks territory that would wave the Niners’ trophy dicks right in their face.Well, now the billboard is up, but there’s just...
A controversial late 4th quarter Seahawks interception that bounced off the forearm of receiver Doug Baldwin into the arms of Cardinals linebacker Karlos Dansby to clinch an upset win for Arizona on Sunday has purportedly also resulted in Baldwin being the subject of a “random” league drug test. Arms so swole they cause picks? Gotta be the drugs! It could also just be because...
The NFC West has proven to be the best division in all of the NFL, led by the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. But as we learned this past Sunday in Week 16 of the NFL season, there is more to the strength of the division then just those two teams. The Arizona Cardinals upset the Seahawks on Sunday, in Seattle no-less. Meanwhile, the cellar-dwelling St. Louis Rams recorded...
Well, this isn't a good trend. The Seahawks can still clinch the division this week if the 49ers lose on Monday night, but that's unlikely given that they're playing the hapless Falcons. The Rams game next week just got a hell of a lot more important.
We can argue about the validity of the interception ruling that ended Seattle's final drive (unless Baldwin...

When you get beat 58-0 (like they did last year), it must feel good to win and snap the Seahawks home winning streak.
Again, that’s officially because of the Packers Fail Mary game in early 2012. But officially, it’s the first Seattle home loss since Week 16 of 2012. The Cardinals needed this tough win to stay in the Wild Card hunt. With a San Francisco loss on Monday night and an Arizona victory in Week 17 against the 49ers, the Cardinals would quality for the postseason for the first time...
This is a complete fail. The 49ers billboard above was supposed to be resurrected outside of the Seahawks stadium. But instead it’s a mere 27 miles away from Seattle. Better luck next time. St. Louis Rams (7-8) at Seattle Seahawks (12-3)
The Seahawks need this win to clinch the #1 seed and home field advantage through to the Super Bowl. The Seahawks lost at home last week, for the first time since week 16 of the 2011 and the first time in Russell Wilson’s career, snapping a perfect 14-0 start. However, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t still be an auto-bet at home...
SEATTLE (AP) -- Carson Palmer overcame four interceptions to throw a 31-yard touchdown to Michael Floyd with 2:13 left, and the Cardinals kept their playoff hopes alive with a 17-10 win over Seattle on Sunday, snapping the Seahawks 14-game home win streak.
Arizona (10-5) had to win after Carolina beat New Orleans. And the Cardinals did thanks to a stingy defense that flustered Russell...
On Sunday the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Sehawks will face off in a match-up of two NFC teams.
Seattle (12-2) can clinch home field throughout the playoffs with a win while Arizona (9-5) is not guaranteed to even make the playoffs even if they win out.
Coverage of the game between the Cardinals and Seahawks will air on FOX beginning at 4:05 pm ET from CenturyLink...
