The Seahawks have the best defensive secondary in football and could be even better if they can add the services of safety Charles Woodson. Woodson’s agent Carl Poston confirmed the Seahawks have expressed interest in Woodson. “I talked to Charles Woodson yesterday and we’re discussing possible upcoming visits. There are a number of teams that have expressed interest in him. He is still interested in playing for a contender,” Carl Poston said, via Josh Alper of Profootballtalk.com. Alper writes: ‘Anderson identifies, via NFL sources rather than Poston, the Seahawks, Dolphins, Jets and Giants as being among the teams that have put in calls on Woodson. The Seahawks were the only one of that group that qualified as a contender in 2013, but playing a lot might not be in the cards on a Seattle team that’s well-stocked at safety with Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor. That might not be a deal-breaker if being in the mix for a trip to the Super Bowl is of paramount interest to Woodson.’...

Seattle Seahawks: Team Needs in the 2013 NFL Draft

As we continue the Team Needs series for the 2013 NFL Draft, we proceed to the team with the twenty-fifth overall pick; the Seattle Seahawks. After a remarkable season that saw Seattle become the darlings of the NFL, Seattle has to be considered an NFC favorite headed into 2013. The play of rookie quarterback Russell Wilson was a big part of both of the above reasons as he was arguably...

Richard Sherman Lets Skip Bayless Have It

I have made it no secret in the past--I do not care for Skip Bayless or that worthless show he participates in each morning called First Take. You can blame the debate format if you want, but the fact of the matter is this guys says things simply to get a rise out of people. He has nothing intelligent or even relevant to say most of the time. He is either controversial or quiet...

24 NSFW Black Dudes Going In On Skip Bayless After Richard Sherman Battle

First Take was making waves once again yesterday. If you didn’t do your daily Bleacher Report or Worldstar scan you might have missed the footage, but Seahawks CB Richard Sherman went off on Skip Bayless. Black guys who were tuned in to First Take immediately took to Twitter to either attack or defend their boy Skip. We saw terms we never heard before. Apparently Sherman was ...

ESPN 1st Take: All-Pro Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman vs. Skip Bayless (VIDEO)

Check out video All-Pro Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman confronting Skip Bayless. Apparently, Sherman believes that he’s better that everyone.

Seattle Seahawks sign someone who doesn’t play football

The Seattle Seahawks are not afraid to roll the dice. One year after giving Matt Flynn a long-term contract and then drafting Russell Wilson and inserting him as the starter, the Seahawks are once again raising eyebrows with personnel moves. This time around it involves signing a player that hasn’t played organized football in nearly ten years. Darren Fells, a 6-7 forward in basketball...

Richard Sherman Destroys Skip Bayless On “First Take”

Skip Bayless is not a very likable guy, thanks to his outrageous and negative statements he makes from time-to-time on First Take. Seattle Seahawks outspoken cornerback Richard Sherman decided to join the debate desk on the show Thursday morning, but most of it had nothing to do with sports. During the whole segment that he was on there, all he did was just roast Bayless and...

Richard Sherman Busting Skip Bayless Is ESPN Theater

I try to ignore Skip Bayless stuff as best I can. I already have to focus overmuch on Peter King. There’s only so much overt media trolling one can consume before being forced to stab their eyeballs, ear drums and frontal lobe. Bayless is also fairly easy to ignore if you really want to. He’s white noise, hardly central to what’s going on in the league. But enough people (actually...

Richard Sherman destroys Skip Bayless on First Take (VIDEO)

You had to see this coming. On Thursday, Seahawks “All-Pro Stanford Graduate” Richard Sherman went on an epic takedown mission of ESPN’s First Take’s resident loudmouth, Skip Bayless.  And it was as glorious as it was awkward to watch. (via gamedayr.com) For years, Bayless has been goading players from the comfort of his First Take pulpit, and with the program becoming more...

Richard Sherman tells Skip Bayless he’s “never accomplished anything in life” and other ether on “First Take”

On ESPN’s “First Take,” Skip Bayless is very good at his job. Stirring up controversy and causing people to react strongly to his “sports opinions.” Thursday on the newly launched afternoon version of the show, Seattle Seahawks corer Richard Sherman appeared. Sherman is a talker and has already begun trash talk for next season by trolling Darelle Revis on Twitter, proclaiming...

Seahawks sign former basketball player

Seattle Seahawks head coach, Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider have never been afraid to take a gamble. Carroll did it when he named Russell Wilson his starting quarterback over Matt Flynn whom they gave a hefty contract to and Schneider cosigns some unconventional moves by the team. With former basketball players turned tight ends, Jimmy Graham, Antonio Gates,...

Bill Simmons' critique of First Take exposes ESPN's identity crisis

Thursday afternoon, Richard Sherman of the Seahawks blasted Skip Bayless on ESPN's traveshamockery that is First Take.  The clip traveled around the blogosphere as everyone gave an 'atta boy to Sherman for doing what they only wish they could do themselves - stick it to Skip Bayless.  Let's take a look, shall we? While yes, that clip is glorious... it's...

Seahawks Sign Pro Basketball Player To Three-Year Deal

Seahawks.com Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider have never been afraid to take a gamble on players. Carroll did it when he named Russell Wilson his starting quarterback over Matt Flynn. Schneider also co-signs some unconventional moves by the team. With the success of former basketball players turned tight ends such as Jimmy Graham, Antonio...

Is Richard Sherman Really “Better At Life” Than Skip Bayless

If you don’t like either Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman or ESPN’s master debater Skip Bayless, than this video may be completely mind-numbing [although you can enjoy the fact that Stephen A Smith sits silent the whole time]. The argument stemmed from Bayless’ belief that Sherman is not an elite NFL cornerback, certainly not in the league of the New York Jets...

John Abraham Will Visit With The Seahawks

Kimberly Jones has been informed that free agent DE John Abraham is on his way to meet with the Seattle Seahawks. This is the first report of Abraham visiting with an team since he was released by the Falcons last Wednesday. Abraham, 35, could be an affordable defensive end who could mitigate the impact of losing Chris Clemons to a torn ACL. He tallied 10 sacks for the Falcons...
