After narrowly escaping with a victory against the St. Louis Rams, the Seattle Seahawks will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9. Despite playing an 0-7 team, prices for Seattle Seahawks tickets are still among the highest in the league this week. The average ticket on the secondary market is $218, which is 28% below the cost of an average Seahawks home game this year. A combination of the close win against St. Louis and the win less Buccaneers visiting have caused the price to drop 12% this week, but it’s the third most expensive game, on average, for Week 9. The $218 average is 59% above Tampa Bay Buccaneers tickets on the road this year.
The Seahawks have the best home field advantage in the NFL and have not lost at home since the 2011 season, including 3-0 at home this year. Tampa Bay doesn’t seem to be a threat to change that streak as they come into the game 0-7 on the season. The Seahawks, though, did narrowly beat the Rams, who have just three wins and were starting a backup quarterback. Seattle also found out they will be without wide receiver Sidney Rice for the rest of the season after he tore his ACL in Monday night’s game. Off season trade acquisition Percy Harvin might play for the first time this season after having hip surgery before the season started. If he returns, it would be the first time for Seattle fans to see the former Offensive Rookie of the Year on the field in a Seahawks uniform.
With or without Harvin, it would be a surprise if the Seahawks do not extend their home winning streak this weekend against the Buccaneers.

When the Seattle Seahawks take the field this upcoming Sunday against the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they will have to do so without wide receivers Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice. We know that they will still be with starters Golden Tate and Zach Miller, but it is my belief that Jermaine Kearse will be the man to fill Rice’s shoes.
