Found October 31, 2012 on NFL Injury Report:
The Seattle Seahawks have placed wide receiver Ben Obomanu on injured reserve, ending his season, reports Danny O’Neil of The Seattle Times. Wide receiver Ben Obomanu was lost for the season after suffering a wrist injury.  The Seahawks have replaced Obomanu on their roster with rookie receiver Jermaine Kearse. Obomanu was a utility receiver for the Seahawks and saw most of his playing time on special teams. The team used him as a run blocker on one-receiver, two tight end sets, according to O’Neil. Beyond Obomanu, the Seahawks had several other question marks at wide receiver. Doug Baldwin is unlikely to be ready to return from a high ankle sprain, and Braylon Edwards’ (knee) status remains uncertain. Pete Carroll says Seahawks are close to 8-0

At 4-4, the Seattle Seahawks are only a .500 team halfway through the season. They have fielded a much better defense than people expected and rookie 3rd round quarterback Russell Wilson has had them in almost all of their games. Can the Seahawks ever be road warriors?

As a lifelong Seahawks fan, that question is something I have pondered over and over again.  The answer I come up with is this:  I just do not know, but it is something that must be figured out in order for them to make the leap from pretender to contender. To be considered a legitimate contender, it simply must happen.  No team can win a Super Bowl, let alone a few playoff games...

Seahawks must learn how to win on the road

The Seattle Seahawks are 4-4 with all four of their losses coming on the road. They are 3-0 at home and are 1-4 away from it. Three of the four losses have come against division opponents and with how well the 49ers are playing, The NFC West title might be out their reach, but the wild card is not. If the Hawks want to make a wild card run they will have to find a way to win on the...

Last week: 14 (-0) Record: 4-4 No the sky is not falling with this team. They just went on the road for 2 games. Everything will be fine this week when the play the Vikings back in Seattle, where they play 5 of their final 8 games. They’ll still be right in the NFC playoff mix, but they will have to win 1 more road game. 9 wins probably won’t cut it in the NFC and that’s assuming...

Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was

Yet another close one goes array Too many times this year, the Seahawks have come up just short, we’re talking within a touchdown of a victory. Is it any coincidence that these games all have taken place on the road? This team has been absolutely amazing at home since moving into their new digs at CenturyLink Field, and yet, this same team just can’t seem to find a niche for...

Healthy Rice could mean trouble for Vikings

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. The Minnesota Vikings understand the tease with Seattle Seahawks receiver Sidney Rice very well from his first four years in the league. In the past two years, Seattle has learned quickly that Rice can be one of the NFL's best wide receivers, when healthy. That's been the rub for Rice. The talented, 6-foot-4 receiver has played in 16 games only once...
