Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and wide receivers Braylon Edwards and Doug Bryant are all listed as probable and are expected to play Sunday against the New York Jets. Lynch missed practice Wednesday and Thursday due to wrist and back injuries, but the running back was able to return yesterday and is expected to suit up against the Jets. Edwards (knee) and Baldwin (ankle) are also probable to play, as are defensive lineman Red Bryant (foot) and Jason Jones (ankle), safety Kam Chancellor (quad), cornerback Richard Sherman (illness) and offensive linemen John Moffitt (knee) and Max Unger (finger). The Seahawks will be without linebacker K.J. Wright and offensive lineman James Carpenter, who are both recovering from concussions. The Seahawks are still in the playoff hunt, can they hold on? Week 10 preview.

The Seahawks have the defense and running game to make the playoffs.  Do they have enough QB play and WR's to win? I'm sitting at 84-49 heading into the weekend.  I need to have a huge run to get over .750 for the season. NY Giants @ Cincinnati - The Giants are coming off a tough home loss last week to the Steelers.  I think last weeks...

Blatant homerism! I wouldn’t trade Lynch for Peterson

Or anyone for that matter On Monday, my editor sent me this Seattle Seahawks pitch, asking if I would be interested in writing the piece—he already had the headline picked.  I had to laugh a little bit at first because I actually had this conversation with my buddy at at a recent game. The actual conversation wasn’t really about Marhawn Lynch versus Adrian Peterson; it was...

Touchdown Seahawks! Golden Tate shows what the Vikes are missing

Give It To John Moffitt! That was my first thought when Golden Tate lost the ball at the goal line and big John Moffitt piled on it.  But unfortunately, Golden Tate did in fact cross the line, taking away what likely could’ve been Moffitt’s one-and-only career touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks. Despite an amazing catch radius from Sidney Rice, and some Beast Mode-ing from...

Carroll sees growth after studying Redskins

A frustrating loss at St. Louis in Week 4 sent Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll in search of ways to make his offense more productive. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks' offense had scored more than 20 points just once in four games and were converting just 28 percent of third down opportunities for the season. Against the Rams, Seattle was just 2 of 9 in third down conversions...

Wilson throws 2 TDs in 'Hawks win

Russell Wilson threw touchdowns of 38 yards to Golden Tate and 31 yards to Sidney Rice, and the Seattle Seahawks sent the New York Jets to their worst start since 2007 with a 28-7 win on Sunday. Wilson was harried for much of the day by the multiple looks from the Jets' defense. But the Seattle rookie responded with key throws, hitting Tate on the opening drive, then connecting...

Moments in Time: Jets vs. Seattle Seahawks 1998

Phil [Bad]Luckett The Seattle Seahawks were at home on a chilly night in December with Vinny Testaverde and the Jets coming to town. How Testaverde was still able to play the game is beyond all of us, but one this is for certain – he was part of one of the most controversial plays in Seahawks team history. It was Ricky Watters vs. Curtis Martin and Keyshawn Johnson vs. Joey Galloway...

GAMEDAY CROSS EXAMINATION: JETS AT SEAHAWKS

Green and White Report's Nick St. Denis previews the Jets pivotal matchup with the Seattle Seahawks

Five Seattle Seahawks who must impress vs. Jets on Sunday

The usual suspects The Seattle Seahawks are at home again this week, welcoming in the New York Jets. The Seahawks are looking to go on a win streak after reversing their recent luck last week in a win over the Minnesota Vikings. The Jets are just looking to keep their head above water as they sink further and further down the AFC ranks. Last week, the Seahawks must have read this...

The weekly Seahawks infirmary for week 10 vs. Jets

Injuries up the gut The Seattle Seahawks and the New York Jets have interior line injuries on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the Seahawks will be without starting left guard James Carpenter (Concussion) for the second week in a row.  Despite being listed on the injury report, I expect John Moffitt (Knee) to start in his place, with Paul McQuistan starting at right guard...

Breakdown: New York Jets vs Seattle Seahawks

Coming out of a bye week, no one is expecting the 3-5 New York Jets to beat the 5-4 Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks have the 3rd best defense in the league, are undefeated at home, and have the advantage when it comes to both their offense and their defense. Unlike the dismissive and treasonous so-called Jet fans that have been outnumbering the real Jet fans in Metlife stadium, the...

Week 10 AFC East game picks: Jets at Seahawks

Lead writer Nick St. Denis and AFC East Daily contributors Dan Begnoche and Sean Donovan pick the New York Jets' inter-conference road battle with the Seattle Seahawks.Nick's take:In Seattle, the 12th man isn't a cliché. It's a fact. The Jets travel to the top-left corner of the country to take on a Seahawks team that is 4-0 at home. Seattle rookie quarterback Russell...
