Ride The Pine:
This clip hit the internet over the weekend that involved Seattle Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka urinating on sidelines during their Thursday night game against the San Francisco 49ers. Hauschka was being shielded by two members of the Seahawks staff holding towels. The original clip was flipped sideways, so we adjusted it so you won’t have to hold your computer sideways or crank you neck 90 degrees.I just love the fact that NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin and Marshall Faulk walked by without noticing. The post Seahawks Kicker Went To The Bathroom On Sidelines appeared first on Ride The Pine.

Pete Carroll and his Seattle Seahawks got a gift from the replacement refs earlier this season, the other night Carroll was getting a gift from his Seahawks defense when they held the San Francisco 49ers to just 13 points. Carrol should have UN-leashed his rookie quarterback Russell Wilson. Wilson only attempted 23 passes completing 9 of them for 122 yards. You aren’t going...
San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh wasn’t happy with how physical the Seahawks’ cornerbacks were on Thursday night and he plans on talking to the NFL.“I wouldn’t use the words, ‘locked up,’” Harbaugh said Friday, per CSNBayArea.com. “We’ll take that up with the officials (NFL office) and get their view of it.”49ers quarterback Alex Smith agrees with his...
Perhaps it should have been expected that if Seattle rookie quarterback Russell Wilson was going to endure an ugly performance early in his first season, it would probably be on the road against San Francisco's stellar defense.
What wasn't expected in Seattle's 13-6 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night was a number of dropped passes, some at critical moments, and a Seahawks...
Bump in the Road
I’m sure most people out there are as frustrated as I am with that disappointing Seahawks loss to the 49ers on Thursday night. Once again the defense did its job and the offense just never seemed to find its groove.
The Seahawks are now 0-3 against NFC West opponents which is a problem, however let’s just sit back and take our hands away from the panic button...
Pull The Trigger!
Headline: The solution is a QB change; the compromise is the Chiefs WR making Seattle’s offense better.
The Seattle Seahawks need to do something for their defense, a defense that is the best in the NFL and could win a Super Bowl if given the opportunity.
Since no one in management or on the coaching staff is willing to change their minds (a stubborn bunch),...
HEART WASN'T IN IT
Following the team's win over the Seahawks Thursday night, 49ers guard Alex Boone said this about Seattle's defense: "We just kind of felt them start to give up a little bit."

The Seattle Seahawks probably have the biggest cornerbacks tandem in the league. They are led by Richard Sherman, who is 6-3 and 195 pounds. On the other side of the field is Brandon Browner, who is listed at 6-4 and 221 pounds.
That’s crazy to see and that’s what led to some of the team’s big success over some of the best passing offenses in the...
The Patriots found out the hard way that CenturyLink Field is a tough place to play football games. But does Seattle truly have the NFL's biggest home-field advantage?
According to Andrew Mooney from the Harvard College Sports Analysis Collective, they do. According to the study, the Seahwaks gain the most from playing at home while the Patriots hardly gain anything...
According to ProFootballWeekly.com, the Seattle Seahawks expect to get back cornerback Walter Thurmond in time for their week 8 match up with the Detroit Lions.“Our sources in Seattle tell us the team is looking forward to getting a boost in the secondary with the return of CB Walter Thurmond, a former starter for a relatively short spell who started the season on the physically...
This one hurt
The Seattle Seahawks were in prime time again Thursday, heading to San Francisco to take on the division rival 49ers. It was a battle of top defenses and a battle for first place in the division, two races the Seahawks lost over the course of the night.
It was a painful loss as the Seahawks had several opportunities to extend their lead or to take the lead back from...
The NFL fined Seahawks defensive end Jason Jones $15,750 for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Tom Brady, whom the league deemed defenseless, during Sundays game in Seattle. The play drew a personal foul penalty.

No Game Balls This Week
Last time I had the unfortunate responsibility of doing ‘What Went Wrong’, the first line was ‘Hey! Only 5 penalties!’ Well this time, I’m leading off with this:
5 drops. 5 freakin’ drops. Unacceptable!
So frustrating to watch, and frustrating for the Seahawks rookie QB Russell Wilson to have happen. Tough game, tough team, hostile environment...
---The Seattle Seahawks were once again involved in a game with gambling repercussions, but this time they had no control over the outcome. In Thursday's loss at San Francisco, 49ers' head coach Jim Harbaugh declined a two-point safety in the game's final minute of a 13-6 win over Seattle, and took over on downs. His rationale was to avoid possibly giving the Seahawks...

When the Seattle Seahawks 2012 schedule was released I knew that going down to San Francisco on such a short week was going to be a tall order. To make maters worse, it was the 49ers third straight home game.
Both teams only had 4 days to prepare for the big divisional matchup. The Seattle...
