Seahawks LB Matt McCoy played on injured reserve

The Seahawks placed linebacker Matt McCoy on injured reserve Tuesday, thereby ending his season.McCoy suffered a knee injury during the first play of Seattle's game against Atlanta on Sunday. Coach Pete Carroll indicated that the injury wasn't necessarily season-ending, however, he would miss time.Tuesday, the Seahawks placed McCoy on injured reserve, ending his season.
