Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has a chance to be the number one guy.

SEATTLE- Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is understandably fighting to figure out who his guy his going to be. When I say his guy think of what Peyton Manning meant to Tony Dungy. The two of them will be forever linked to each other. After they yanked former Packers back-up Matt Flynn from the jaws of the Dolphins, it was assumed that Caroll was rolling the dice on Flynn being his...

Robert Turbin to the Seahawks: Fantasy Analysis

The Seahawks landed one of the drafts most impressive power backs in Robert Turbin. Owner of a 4.50 40-time at 222 lbs, Turbin has an impressive power and speed blend especially when considering he paced all running backs with 28 bench press reps at the combine, something usually reserved for smaller backs. Turbin is impressive on film and screams lead back in a committee but that...

Before the season begins, the Seahawks will have to name their starting quarterback. Prior to the draft, it looked like it would be between Tarvaris Jackson and Matt Flynn. You can now throw third round pick Russell Wilson in the fray. Pete Carroll told the team's website, "He showed us enough. He's in the competition. That is going to tax us, as we know. It was already...

Fantasy Football 2012: Deep Sleeper Alert-Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson

The Seattle Seahawks selected University of Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, as his perceived physical limitations (5'11" tall) led to him falling down the draft some. The Seahawks definitely took the best player available at that stage, and it looked like Wilson would spend his rookie season on the bench while incumbent Tavaris...

The New Fast And Furious Offseason

The hits just keep on coming this NFL offseason. Free agency started off with a bang, with the Peyton Manning sweepstakes, the Saints and bounty scandal, and the draft. The Seattle Seahawks have already signed nine of their ten draft picks, including first round pick Bruce Irvin, more on him later. What a difference a year makes huh? This time last year we, as fans, weren’t worried...

Draft Grades: Seattle Seahawks

For the second consecutive year, the Seattle Seahawks whiffed in the 1st round and demonstrated a complete lack of understanding as to how to effectively use the draft to rebuild a franchise. While the Seahawks have some talent, they’re headed in the wrong direction. I thought the selection of James Carpenter was bad last year, but Bruce Irvin may be worse. Not only was Irvin a...
