The Seahawks learned on Tuesday that RG Max Unger will miss the remainder of the 2010 season with a toe injury sustained in Sunday’s win over San Francisco. Unger, who started all 16 games as a rookie last season, suffered the injury in the first quarter, but played through it. The club put the 6′5, 306-pounder from Oregon on the injured reserve list and re-signed OG Mansfield Wrotto, who was released by the team earlier this month. Seattle will likely go with Stacy Andrews, who was acquired from Philadelphia at the end of the exhibition season, to fill the void left by Unger; another option would be to move Andrews to right tackle and move Sean Locklear to Unger’s role. The Seahawks moved deck chairs on Tuesday, reinstating LB Leroy Hill and releasing CB Kennard Cox. CB Ross Weaver was released from the practice squad, while CB Cord Parks was signed to take his place. Parks played two games with St. Louis last season, recording one tackle.
