The Seahawks dont know what to expect with regard to a ruling on cornerback Richard Shermans appeal of a positive test result for performance-enhancing substances or when to expect it. For that very reason, Seattle will change its practice repetitions at left cornerback on Wednesday, coach Pete Carroll said.
We dont know whats going to happen, Carroll said, so were not going to go blindly into it so we are going to get our guys in the rotation a little differently. It wont change much, though.
Rookie Jeremy Lane has started at right cornerback the past two weeks in place of Brandon Browner. Byron Maxwell is also available and Marcus Trufant was practicing Wednesday after missing the past four games because of a hamstring injury. Walter Thurmond who has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury remains out of practice, however.
