Found February 28, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that sources have informed him that the Seattle Seahawks see keeping QB Matt Flynn as their backup as a “priority.” Flynn still wants to be a starter, so Rapoport admits that there’s a chance he could be traded at some point this offseason. Flynn signed a three-year deal $19.5 million with the Seahawks last season, but wound up losing the starting to Russell Wilson and now has no chance of reclaiming the position. He’s set to make $5.25 million for the upcoming season, but considering that Wilson makes a mere $526,217, the Seahawks would probably be comfortable with the way those two salaries average out. During the preseason, Flynn missed some time with a reported elbow injury, but Rapoport’s sources mentioned that his elbow is doing just fine. Rapoport mentions that the Jaguars, Browns, and Jets could be potential landing spots for Flynn if the Seahawks end up shopping him around the league.
