Wide receiver Antonio Bryant was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, the team announced. Bryant, 31, has not played in an NFL game since the 2009 season, when he played in 13 games, including 11 starts, for Tampa Bay and caught 39 passes. The Seahawks signed him last month, but he has been bothered by a hamstring injury that limited his practice time. The Seahawks also re-signed kicker Carson Wiggs. The Seahawks have a lot of wide receivers. They signed Braylon Edwards and cut Mike Williams in July. Sidney Rice had offseason shoulder surgery, but he figures to be one starting wide receiver, while Edwards, Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin, Ben Obomanu, Kris Durham and Ricardo Lockette compete for playing time.

Marshawn Lynch corn maze created

Of all the NFL players that could be honored with a corn maze in their likeness, Marshawn Lynch would be one of the more unlikely. That’s more something you’d expect to see dedicated to bucolic-friendly white guys like Brett Favre or, of course, Tim Tebow. Jared Allen could easily have one, but his would have to be filled with Burmese tiger pits and snipers. Nevertheless,...

T.O. Going To Seattle?

Sources say that Terrell Owens is heading to Seattle to try out for a wide receiver position.  This comes after the Seahawks sign veteran Braylon Edwards, and release Antonio Bryant.  There is no doubt in my mind that Owens will be in great shape for the job, but at the moment, he is unproven.  T.O. has not been in an NFL game since the 2010 season. Seattle could most certainly...
