Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman posted his stats up against Jets cornerback Darelle Revis’ on Twitter tonight, as if to say he’s a better player.  If you click the picture above you’ll get a larger view. “Women lie, men lie, numbers don’t lie” twitter.com/RSherman_25/st… — Richard Sherman (@RSherman_25) January 25, 2013 Sherman also made it clear he doesn’t want to hear the excuses for Revis.   • sherman needs to grow up first then maybe he can carry Revis jock strap around cause he certainly couldnt fill it up. Tired of this useless individuals crap.

  • Sherman probably does talk too much... but I sure as hell would NOT trade Sherman for Revis. At least Sherman knows how to agree to a contract and be happy about it

  • Richard Sherman has Niner coaches Harbaugh and Fangio to thank for whatever DB skills he has today. Sherman was an underachieving WR at Stanford when Harbaugh arrived. Jim saw a lack of speed and depth at DB and had better WR prospects than Sherman - whose early games at DB were NOT good but he apparently learned how to use his size and strength over speedy WR's (and he had been on the other side of the ball). If Sherman was a good WR he would have been asked to play old-school like Owen Marecic did so well for the Cardinal.

    It appears that nobody ever worked with Sherman on his character, but why does that matter in the NFL, where the likes of Ray Lewis are celebrated? Whatever Richard is doing, it's working and for now he's better than Lance Armstrong or Barry Bonds...and Revis!
