The Seattle Seahawks released Terrell Owens early Sunday morning. Owens sent out a tweet informing his followers he was cut and thanked the organization for the opportunity.
Owens sat out of the entire 2011 season after not signing with a team. The Seahawks gave him a shot at making the final roster, but at age 37 it seems Owens is no longer capable of playing in the NFL. We dropped him off our Cheatsheets and suggest you do the same with your Draft Boards.

Terrell Owens‘ stint with the Seattle Seahawks didn’t last long. It was 20 days to be exact.
After agreeing to terms with the team on August 6, Owens announced he was released on Sunday, Aug. 26 via Twitter. In 15 NFL seasons, Owens has collected 1,078 receptions for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns.

After getting cut by the Seahawks, you would think Terrell Owens would be having trouble keeping up his spirits. But to his credit, he’s been on Twitter conversing with fans like nothing ever happened.
He even took the time for this little back and forth with the JobsDirectUSA.com Twitter account about receiving help with his employment search.

And with that one tweet, Terrell Owens has confirmed that he's been cut by the Seahawks. The 38-year old had two catches for 41 yards during Friday's preseason game...
Earlier today, Terrell Owens announced via his Twitter account that he didn't survive the first round of cuts. Owens proved he is still as big, fast, and athletic as ever, but apparently catching just two passes in eight targets wasn't enough to earn him another audition in the final preseason game against the Raiders.No word yet on who else the Seahawks have released...
