Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman announced on Twitter that he has won his appeal, which will overturn a four-game ban for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drugs policy.
"I won," Sherman tweeted. "Thank you @nfl for upholding the truth! To the 12s Thank you your faith is rewarded! Thank you lord."
Sherman, who has been fighting his suspension for nearly a month, contended the sample taken from him was contaminated. He has tallied 53 tackles, one sack and seven interceptions (one for a touchdown) this season.
Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner tested positive for Adderall on Nov. 25 and will finish his four-game suspension on Sunday. Browner is likely to be active for the Seahawks in the playoffs.
