by John HickeyFiled under: Seahawks, NFC WestFree agent wide receiver Brandon Jones signed a contract with the Seattle Seahawks, who then released wide receiver Mike Haas Monday afternoon.
Jones played the 2009 season with the San Francisco 49ers after playing four years with the Tennessee Titans following his being taken with the 96th pick in the 2005 draft.
In his five years in the NFL Jones has played in 59 games (27 starts) with 113 receptions for 1,398 yards and nine touchdowns. His best year was 2008 when he had 41 catches.
Haas played in one game with the Seahawks last year. This is the second time this preseason he has been released by the club. He was resigned on Aug. 8 after an earlier release by the club. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
