Per a tweet from Tacoma News Tribune Seahawks beat reporter Eric Williams we've learned that the Seattle Seahawks have signed former Ravens CB Danny Gorrer to the active roster.

Gorrer has played in 14 NFL games for the Ravens and the Rams. He's started 1 for the Rams in 2009.

He was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an UFA in 2009, he was then released.

He was claimed off waivers by the St. Louis Rams in 2009.

He was waived in 2010 by the Rams and picked up by the Ravens.

The Ravens released Gorrer prior to the start of the 2012 season.

He played college football at Texas A&M where he was a 2-year starter.

He started 24 of the 42 games he played for the Aggies, tallying 141 tackles, two sacks, an interception, 13 pass defenses and two forced fumbles.
