The Seattle Seahawks signed a veteran offensive weapon ahead of their Week 7 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks offense struggled in their Week 6 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, as the offense put up 13 points in the loss.
The rushing offense failed to put up 100 yards in the loss. Quarterback Geno Smith and the passing offense put up decent numbers. Smith finished 27-of-41 passing for 326 yards. However, Smith’s two interceptions hurt the Seahawks' chances of winning.
The Seahawks added wide receiver depth to their 53-man roster Wednesday. According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Seahawks signed veteran wide receiver Cody Thompson to the 53-man roster. Thompson had been on the Seahawks practice squad to start the year.
