When the Seattle Seahawks acquired wide receiver Percy Harvin from the Minnesota Vikings this offseason, they were hoping to add a dynamic threat and option for quarterback Russell Wilson. Unfortunately, the Seahawks aren’t sure when Harvin will be ready to return from his hip surgery. While head coach Pete Carroll is hopeful, the team still doesn’t have a timeframe for Harvin’s return, according to John Boyle of Herald Net. "We just know that the surgeon that did the work was thrilled with the way he came back the days right after the surgery, and his ability to get range of motion and things were way ahead of schedule, so that’s a great sign," Carroll said. "We’re hopeful, whatever that means. We won’t know, it’s going to take a good month before we can figure if he’s even going to have a chance to come roaring back out of it, but it looks like all of the signs are very good. So we’ll see what that means, but we’re not putting any weeks on it. We don’t know." Harvin underwent hip surgery earlier this month, and initially the team was hopeful that he would return in time to play this season. However, that remains to be determined, as the Seahawks are currently deciding whether to place the wide receiver on the physically unable to perform list, which would sideline him through at least Week 7, or injured reserve with the ability to recall during the season, which would keep him out even longer. Either way, it’s evident that the Seahawks won’t be getting Harvin back until later this season, if at all. Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?

Seahawks Sign 12-Year-Old With Life-Threatening Heart Condition

The Seattle Seahawks have just added some really young talent to their roster. His name is Kevin Lee, and though he’s an undrafted free agent, he could help lift the Seahawks closer to a potential Super Bowl run more than anyone on the team. Lee, an avid Seahawks fan, is also 12-years-old and has a life-threatening heart condition. Tune into SportsCenter at 11:00 p.m. EST Saturday...

Skip Bayless Does Not Know What Conference Seattle Seahawks Are In

I hesitate to call him a journalist because the majority of the stuff that comes out of his mouth seems to be speculative and inflammatory crap. That's what it makes it so much fun to read all the comments people are making after he messed up when tweeting about the Seattle Seahawks Saturday night. @realskipbayless/Twitter Here is what he tweeted Saturday night when...

Seattle Seahawks Give Fans Something to Watch (in the first half at least)

Preseason games are not for the fans. They are for the coaches to see who can do what and for players to earn a job. Since fans have been without football for too many moons when the preseason finally rolls around we are often too happy to watch. So it is nice when one or both of the teams playing actually gives us something to watch Saturday night the Seattle Seahawks did just...

Skip Bayless thinks Seattle Seahawks are in the AFC

Skip Bayless, master troll and ESPN carnival barker, showed everyone just how uneducated he is about the NFL. A day after boasting about how good New England looked in the preseason, Bayless conceded that the Seattle Seahawks might pose the best threat to the Pats in the AFC. Sorry to break it to you, Skip, […]

Seattle Seahawks: 2013 Game-By-Game Predictions

Some people will disagree with me on this article and that is fine.  It’s an opinion piece and yes the Seahawks are my favorite team, but I still believe that they are one of the top 5 teams in the NFL this season. Yes, they lost Percy Harvin.  In an earlier article I said that the trade was a risky one do to Percy Harvin’s injury issues.  Say what you want about what Harvin...

Seahawks hoping to keep finding undrafted gems

(Eds: Adds details, quotes. With AP Photos.) By TIM BOOTH AP Sports Writer Before they landed in Seattle's camp, Benson Mayowa and John Lotulelei knew nothing of the Seahawks' recent history of giving undrafted rookies a spot on the final 53-man roster. All they understood was the difficulty of coming into a camp where there were very few position competitions and with a...

Moments in Time: Seahawks vs. Broncos 2012

Remember the date Moments in Time are usually saved for Seattle Seahawks regular season and post season games. This week, though, I have a special treat for you all. Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are coming to town this week and it always brings us down memory lane when we play our old foes from the AFC West. One memory in particular is one that is forever etched in my memory...

Seahawks who will come up big against Denver

Preseason Test It’s not too often that you get the kind of opportunity in the preseason that the Seattle Seahawks have this week. Matched up against the Denver Broncos, the Hawks will be taking on a team who they very well could see in this year’s Super Bowl (really not trying to get ahead of ourselves, however). Not only that, but they’ll also be able to see Peyton Manning...
