SEATTLE -- It was so much more than a win over the Seattle Seahawks and a loss for the New York Jets. Seattle's 28-7 thumping of the Jets on Sunday at CenturyLink Field was a showcase of teams headed in different directions. The Seahawks won their second straight game and improved to 5-0 at home. With the continuing maturation of rookie quarterback Russell Wilson and the running of Marshawn Lynch, Seattle's postseason goals are very real and very attainable. The Jets fell to 3-6, and looked inept offensively, hampered by poor play from quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow. Though not much of a compliment and despite having his best outing of the season, Wilson was the best quarterback on the field on Sunday. The first year quarterback completed 12-of-19 passes for 188 and two touchdowns. He hit Golden Tate a 38-yard touchdown pass early in the first half to give Seattle a 7-0 lead. The ball was underthrown and Tate made a tough leaping grab over Jets cornerba...

Russell Wilson will win Super Bowls with Seahawks

There is no doubt, Russell Wilson is the future of the Seattle Seahawks' franchise. They will win Super Bowls with him and out of all the rookie quarterbacks he is the one who, in the end, will win the most titles and awards. RG3 and Andrew Luck will win a Super Bowl, but Wilson will out do them both. He is unstoppable at home, has unquestionable leadership abilities, and...

Wilson, Lynch lead Seattle's 28-7 rout of Jets

Russell Wilson threw touchdowns of 38 yards to Golden Tate and 31 yards to Sidney Rice, and the Seattle Seahawks sent the New York Jets to their worst start since 2007 with a 28-7 win on Sunday. Wilson was harried for much of the day by the multiple looks from the Jets' defense. But the Seattle rookie responded with key throws, hitting Tate on the opening drive, then connecting...

Wilson Over Sanchez. Seattle Seahawks Over New York Jets

Mark Sanchez was almost a Seahawk. When he was available in the draft back in 2009, the Seahawks supposedly were strongly considering him. They instead went with a guy considered to be a safe bet, in linebacker Aaron Curry. Curry didn’t work out for the Seahawks and they eventually traded him to the Raiders for a pair of picks. Curry didn’t do much in Seattle and spent most of...

Breakdown: New York Jets vs Seattle Seahawks
