I have been incredibly busy helping a friend move so I missed on reporting Locklear to Washington yesterday. That has indeed happened, he was not expected to return to Seattle after they drafted tackle James Carpenter in the first round. A starter for the Super Bowl team and regarded as one of the leagues better pass blockers, he was incredibly solid during his time here.

Another move that was unsurprising is backup tackle Ray Willis to the Miami Dolphins. Just a couple seasons ago, Willis reportedly turned down the opportunity to start for the Washington Redskins to return to the Seahawks.

One things clear, he won’t be unseating Jake Long or Vernon Carey in Miami.

Seahawks Gab was actually slated to do interviews with both Olindo Mare and Ray Willis this off season, it’s clear why that chance never came now.
