The Seattle Seahawks will be hosting free agent quarterbacks Chad Henne and Matt Flynn on visits this week. The team confirmed that Henne would visit on Wednesday with Flynn schedule to arrive and meet with team officials on Thursday. The Seahawks are in the market for a QB with only two currently on their roster, including last year's starter Tarvaris Jackson. Jackson played well at times during his first year in Seattle but has just one year remaining on his deal. Flynn turned heads with his performance in Green Bay's season finale when he threw for 480 yards and six touchdowns against Detroit. Henne started four games last season for Miami before having season-ending shoulder surgery.

Seahawks likely won’t offer Matt Flynn “starter” money

According to Eric D. Williams of The News Tribune, the Seattle Seahawks will likely won’t offer free agent quarterback Matt Flynn “starter” money, but rather a contract in the neighborhood of two-years, $8 million. I’ve been very impressed with Flynn, but he clearly isn’t a proven quarterback and will need to prove exactly how much he’s worth before a team will  be willing...

NFL Free Agency: Possible Seahawks linebackers love ‘em & hate ‘em

A look into the linebackers free agency market Last season the Seahawks drafted KJ Wright which allowed them to cut ties with the grossly underperforming Aaron Curry. Seattle also drafted Malcolm Smith last year and the 7th round draft choice is currently the other starting OLB. One would think the Seattle Seahawks have to be active March 13th. Here’s how I see Seahawks...

Playing catchup on Seattle Seahawks news here as I was out to dinner with family, who I must say I love for putting up with my "blogging fever" during NFL Free Agency. I had to introduce myself to my kids again tonight. Ok onto the news... A short while ago the NFL Network reporter Steve Wyche broke the news that the Seahawks will host tight end Visanthe Shiancoe...

NFL Free Agency: Possible Seahawks wide receivers love ‘em & hate ‘em

A look into the wide receiver free agency market Last year Seattle made a big splash when they signed Sidney Rice to a 5 year $41 million dollar contract. They were also able to add Doug Baldwin as an un-drafted free agent and we all know how great that has turned out. Because of these two moves last off season I would not expect Seattle to make any big moves at this position. One...

So how does a one day Hall of Fame Left Guard who you'll probably remember being in town sound? Steve Hutchinson... "HUTCH" is here for a visit reports Danny O from the Seattle Times blog. Seahawks Guard Robert Gallery released

(Update: Gallery has been released) Robert Gallery's agent made a public statement saying that the guard will be released from the Seahawks. Last offseason the Bengals got into a bidding war for Gallery and he chose Seattle because former Raiders coach Tom Cable was hired there. He could become a target for the Bengals again this year and would come at a cheaper price.
