This is a big, big week for us. We gotta beat the 49ers.

When the Seahawks are on offense
Look for John Carlson to get a lot of balls thrown his way. (I know I'm going to start him for my team). We will be running the ball early and often, so our handicapped line (losing Sims hurts more than any of our WR troubles) has to step up and open holes. If they do that, then this game is in the bag. If they don't, it's going to get a little interesting. Bad interesting.

When the 49ers have the ball
Unlike the last two years, Frank Gore won't be running the ball every play. This is definitley a good thing for us. We need to get lots of pressure on JT Sullivan, because he will be throwing quite a bit today. '

Today will be Lawrence Jackson's biggest test yet: Joe Staley is a good left tackle. If he shows up, that is a very good sign for this team. Russell seriously has to step up: we absolutley cannot allow him to just sit back and watch today. Martz loves to throw deep, and while the 49ers WR's aren't great, they are all deep threats.

On Special Teams
You may have heard that the Seahawks have a new punter. While I don't really approve, we should keep an eye on him. I honestly know nothing about him. Maybe he is great. If he isn't, there's still Plack as an FA.
