According to The Seattle Times, Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond has been very impressive so far this spring now that he’s healthy again. Another breakout player of the OTAs has been cornerback Walter Thurmond, healthy for the first time in roughly two years. “Walter is physically capable of showing off, really,” Carroll said. “He is a tremendous athlete. He has been in a situation where he’s kind of had to hold back a little bit for a long time and he’s really able to go for it now. He’s got extraordinary quickness. He’s a playmaker and he’s fighting to play a bunch, not just to be around here, so it’s kind of been a guy we have had in mind that we don’t know if he’s going to make it or not because he’s been so banged up. But now he is right, he is over that hump, and he has really prepared himself to have a great camp.’’ The Seahawks already have arguably the best secondary in the NFL. If Thurmond can return to his previous form, watch out. Need NFL Tickets? The post Seahwks’ Walter Thurmond very impressive this spring appeared first on Pro Football Zone.

With any hope of making an NFL comeback becoming more and more remote, Terrell Owens believes he has the skills necessary to become a professional bowler.
Tweet Thanks to a rookie season where he completed 64% of his passes for 3,118 yards and 26 touchdowns Russell Wilson has quickly become one of the more popular names around the Seattle, Washington area. The third round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft helped the Seahawks secure a playoff birth with an 11-5 [...]
According to the Seattle Times, the Seahawks gave rookie running back Christine Michael some first-team snaps during last week’s workouts.
Christine Michael got a lot of work with the ones and had another solid day, showing off his pass-catching skills throughout. He also shows a good ability to quickly turn and get upfield after making the catch.
With Marshawn Lynch only getting...
According to Los That Sports Blog, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw out the first pitch at Friday night’s Mariners game. What’s really crazy is that it was clocked at 98 MPH. It shouldn’t be too much of a surprise since he’s a former baseball player.

A whopping six violations for PED use in 3 years for one team is just one too many, but try telling that to Seahawks GM John Schneider.
Sure, one suspension was reversed on appeal (or a technicality we should say), but it certainly doesn't diminish what has apparently ran rampant in Seattle.
Schneider takes exception to those fans and media members who are calling it a big...
According to the National Football Post, the Seattle Seahawks aren’t interested in appearing on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”
“We understand the interest in this show, but would not want to bring a ton of attention to ourselves,” Seahawks general manager John Schneider told the National Football Post on Thursday.
The Seahawks are a well run franchise. I’m not surprised they...
Terrell Owens has accepted that his time with the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals and (briefly) the Seattle Seahawks will have to be enough to write the story of his legacy
With each passing year, the market for the aging performer has closed tighter than a set of vice grips.
Owens, 39, is ready to throw his hat in the...
Today's installment of Choose Your Quarterback pits Russell Wilson vs. Jay Cutler, the Nos. 14 and 17 assets in my rankings of the 32 presumed starting quarterbacks.
Here's a week-by-week fantasy breakdown of Cutler vs. Wilson, just in case you're torn on which quarterback offers better value from Rounds 3 through 6:
Week 1 Cutler (vs. Cincinnati) over Wilson (@ Carolina...
Obviously Russell Wilson has a live arm out on the gridiron, but according to Safeco Field’s (possibly faulty) radar gun, the Seahawks quarterback throws fire from the mound, as well.
Wilson threw out the first pitch at the Mariners game on Friday night. After the strike went across the plate, Safeco Field’s scoreboard flashed that the pitch went 98 mph.
Now, no offense to Wilson...
The NFL Network recently began releasing its annual list of the top 100 players in the NFL, which is always a source of great debate among fans, players and analysts. While the entire list has not yet been revealed, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White have already begun hurling insults at [...]
