The Seattle Times reports that Ben Obomanu is one of several receivers on the roster bubble in camp this summer. Mike Williams and Deon Butler are other veterans who might struggle to make the cut. The Times believes no more than six receivers will make the final roster, with Sidney Rice, Doug Baldwin and Golden Tate considered locks.

Danny O’Neil of The Seattle Times believes that both Mike Williams and Deon Butler will have to fight to make the Seahawks’ final 53-man roster.
With the Seahawks going into camp with 13 wide receivers, O’Neil believes the only locks to make the roster are Golden Tate, Sidney Rice and Doug Baldwin, who are clearly their top three receivers going into the season...
Matt Flynn and Doug Baldwin are making the right connections
Doug Baldwin barely made it into the NFL in 2011. As an undrafted free agent he signed with the Seattle Seahawks, and then became their leading receiver. Building on that momentum, Baldwin started working out with the guy who could make or break his sophomore year, Matt Flynn.
The two met in Pensacola Florida this week to start getting their timing down.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Flynn and wide receiver Doug Baldwin recently met up in Miami to work out together. Flynn sees something special in Baldwin who had a break out season in 2011 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Stanford.
“Last year, Doug being undrafted, obviously, I’m sure he had something to prove coming in, a chip on his shoulder, and...

WR Mike Williams May Not Make Seahawks Roster
It still to this day stings me that Mike Williams went Maurice Clarett on us and tried to leave Southern Cal before he was allowed to enter the NFL Draft.
Fast forward almost 8 years later and Williams career has been lukewarm at best.
Williams is now looking to avoid flaming out once again.
The Seattle Times is reporting that Williams is not a lock to make the 2012 Seahawks roster...

Seahawks’ Chris Clemons expected to attend Training Camp
Chris Clemons was one of only a few players to hold out of his team’s mandatory minicamp last month and he was fined for doing so. Border Battle: The CFL’s B.C. Lions vs. the NFL’s Seahawks
CFL vs. NFL
No it’s not quite the level of the Lion vs the Tuna but still thought about taking a fun compare and contrast look at the two North West football teams.
While I may be one of the few that would be man enough to say that I prefer to watch the BC Lions games over a Seattle Seahawks game, it may just be the homer in me coming out.
Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy my...

These guys just took jersey burning to a whole new level, a level that involves bombs!
Aaron Curry has yet to live up to the hype after being selected #4 overall in the 2009 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Late in 2011, Seattle gave up on the Curry project and traded him to the Oakland Raiders for pennies on the dollar. While the Seahawks organization may have moved on, some...
