Lee has a lot to prove in 2013. He has to show the Cowboys that he can stay healthy and continue to produce at a high level. This is the final year of his rookie contract.

Former Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent has proven, if not beyond a shadow of a legal doubt then at least anecdotally, that he does not know when to say when.
I base this solely on the facts as alleged by prosecutors in his intoxication manslaughter case set to go to trial in September, namely that he got behind the wheel of his Mercedes last December with twice the legal limit...
Earlier today Cowboys defensive lineman Josh Brent announced his retirement from the NFL as he prepares to go to trial for DUI manslaughter.
Many people believe Brent decided to retire so he could avoid being suspended by the NFL.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Brent likely would have faced a one year suspension by the NFL.

According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware and defensive tackle Jay Ratliff might be limited early on in training camp as they work their way back.
Ware is still rehabbing from shoulder surgery and Ratliff underwent sports hernia surgery late last year.
“We’ll have to monitor those guys and a couple of guys and see how they are,” Garrett...
Josh Brent will no longer be seen the Cowboys sideline — or any sideline, for that matter.
The defensive tackle announced his retirement from the NFL on Thursday, stating that he would like to focus his full attention on his life away from the football field.
Brent was charged with intoxication manslaughter after a Dec. 8 car crash that killed his passenger, Cowboys teammate Jerry...
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten told a rather amusing story on Wednesday involving former coach and future Hall of Famer Bill Parcells.Speaking to approximately 1,000 people at the 2013 Advocare V100 Independence Bowl kickoff luncheon, Witten said Parcells once scolded him for scarfing down a hot dog during a 2006 preseason game against the New Orleans Saints. Here's the...
OXNARD, Calif. (AP) -- Jerry Jones opened his 25th training camp as owner of the Dallas Cowboys sounding as if coach Jason Garrett would be around for 25 more.
The first vote of confidence came even before someone could ask Saturday in the annual "State of the Cowboys" address that Jones gives on the eve of camp.
The words got stronger when the questions started. Jones...
For months there has been one question that has baffled the minds of many in and around the NFL. Why on Earth have the Dallas Cowboys continued to keep Josh Brown on the team? Well, as it turns out no one will need to ask anymore.
Josh Brent has retired from the NFL in order to focus on his off-field/legal problems.
Brent has been inactive since being arrested on charges...
ESPN is reporting that Josh Brent has decided to retire to get his “priorities” straight. The Cowboys weren’t going to cut him, so this comes as a surprise.
Brent is being accused of driving drunk and causing a car crash that killed his teammate. He has flunked two drug tests since being released on bond, but he is currently free.
Jerry Jones has been known to lie, so take this with a grain of salt.
If the Cowboys don’t make the playoffs again, Garrett will be out of a job.
Toward the end of his press conference Saturday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked by a reporter whether it was proper to say that it was a “win-or-else” season for head coach Jason Garrett, who has two years left on his contract...
Dez Bryant is on the brink of superstardom, and needs another huge year to elevate the already growing status the four-year veteran has developing.
Bryant had a relatively quiet off-season that has coaches and teammates feeling he may have finally turned the corner. Jason Witten spoke to reporters at a Independence Bowl kickoff luncheon on Wednesday, and according to The Dallas...
The Dallas Cowboys' medical staff has cleared quarterback Tony Romo to begin practicing when training camp starts on Sunday, according to sources.
Romo underwent minor surgery to have a non-cancerous cyst removed from his back in April. The surgery prevented Romo from participating in offseason workouts other than some light throwing in walk-through practices.
Romo and team...
Before the posse comes and a day before training camp, Cowboys defensive end Josh Brent is no longer Cowboys defensive end Josh Brent- he's just Josh Brent...
"This is the right decision for me, and something that I have given a lot of thought to," Brent said in a Cowboys news release. "I am at a point where my main focus is all about getting...

I’m not so sure about the look of these shoes, I mean maybe they are good for avoiding rock slides, but you might get avoided by women if you are wearing these.
