Seattle's new star at the wide receiver position, Doug Baldwin.
  • Are you jumping on the Seahawks bandwagon? The Seahawks came out with a decisive 30-13 victory over the lowly Rams on Monday Night Footbal. The team has now won four of its past five games and has an outside shot of stealing a Wild Card playoff spot if they win out. I'll let you read our post-game bullet points, but I want to say that Doug Baldwin has captured the appreciation of the Seahawks fan base. Last night's performance by the undrafted free agent cemented the receiver's status as Jackson's best option down the field.
  • Zach Banner called his official Washington visit a "12," though he's probably been on a dozen or so unofficial visits to Montlake. Considering Sark's past success with in-state recruits, I'm guessing Banner commits to the Huskies. An upset over Baylor might be the guarantee clincher Sarkisian and the Huskies need to reel in Banner.
  • Aziz N'Diaye will not play in UW's game against UC Santa Barbara this Friday and might miss two more games depending on his recovery. The good news for Husky fans is that N'Diaye didn't suffer any torn ligaments in his knee from his injury in Saturday's game against Duke.
  • Dave Cameron advocates for the Mariners signing of Casey McGehee. McGehee hit .223/.280/.346 for the Brewers in 155 games last season. Cameron states he is a "low cost, right-handed, potential role player with upside for more if need be."
  • Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott is exploring the possibility of having Pac-12 football games being played China. Why not?
