(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By TIM BOOTH AP Sports Writer Unbeatable at home. Undeniably bad on the road. The Seattle Seahawks play in one of the NFL's most remote outposts. It's partly why they are so dominant at home, going 5-0 with three victories by at least 10 or more points this season while playing before one of the rowdiest fan bases in football. But on the road, the Seahawks are a woeful 1-5 this season and they need to solve the problem fast if they want to consider themselves a playoff contender. Seattle goes to Chicago on Sunday for its next-to-last road game and it needs a victory to keep hold of the final playoff spot in the NFC. This isn't a new trend. Seattle's road struggles are a long-standing issue.

Looming suspensions of Sherman and Browner have the Seattle Seahawks on the outside of this weeks playoff picture

While Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman intend on pursuing their right to appeal for now we’ll have to assume that the suspensions will stand (I know that’s a guilty until proven innocent point of view, but, its not often the case that suspensions are completely overturned) and that may be enough to sink the Seahawks playoff aspirations...

Seattle's Leon Washington wants return record

(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By TIM BOOTH AP Sports Writer Leon Washington takes pride in owning a share of the NFL record for most career kickoff returns for a touchdown, especially considering the devastating broken leg he had to overcome before he could get there. No disrespect to Cleveland's Josh Cribbs, but Washington wants to own the record himself...

Bear Breakdown: Analyzing the Seahawks’ Offense for Week 13

Following their 28-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, the Chicago Bears moved to 8-3 on the season, tops in the NFC North.
