Found November 21, 2011 on Rams Locker:
The Rams flat out stunk up the joint yesterday, mostly on offense.  Sam Bradford had a so-so game as he completed 20 of 40 passes for 181 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 INT.  Steven Jackson had a rough go of it in this game with 15 carries for 42 yards (2.8 ypc) and 3 grabs for 19 yards (6.3 avg).  WR Brandon Lloyd led the way in the air for the Rams in this game with 67 yards on 5 grabs (13.4 avg) with 1 TD catch.  WR Brandon Gibson (4 rec, 37 yards) and Mark Clayton (3 rec, 26 yards) pitched in for the Rams yesterday.  The Rams finished up with 42 yards rushing on 17 carries (2.5 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 40 passes (50%) for 143 yards as they only had possession of the ball for 25:00. The defense was pretty solid for the Rams yesterday.  LB James Laurinaitis led the way for the Rams yesterday with 13 tackles and 1 tackle for a loss.  Safeties Darian Stewart (8 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1 sack and 1 QB hit) and Quintin Mikell (6 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 1 pass defens...

Sam Bradford Has Lost That Lovin' Feeling

In the wake of this howlingly bad loss to the Seattle Seahawks, blame is being spread around like melted butter on a hot pan. Fire Spagnuolo. Fire McDaniels. Fire Devaney. And those are the big targets. This season is too far gone to pick on lesser targets like Ken Flajole and Steve Loney, men who are expected to be caught up like lint in the wake of the "sweeping changes...

Rams' offense still lacks rhythm

ST. LOUIS A season that was lost many weeks ago is unlike anything he has lived before, so Sam Bradford leaned back in front of his locker and continued to wait. He was dressed in full uniform more than 10 minutes after he walked off the field to fan disinterest and personal disgust. He buried his face in a cream-colored towel as the sound of teammates unfastening their pads filled...

Rams Offense Incompetent In Loss To Seahawks

Coming off a road victory against the Cleveland Browns last week, the St. Louis Rams had hoped to build a late-season rally.  The Rams had quite the opportunity on Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome, hosting the Seattle Seahawks. Things looked good in the first quarter as the Rams jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a 30 yard Sam Bradford touchdown pass to Brandon Lloyd.  The score came...

Bradford roughed up in Rams loss

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The Seattle Seahawks opened the game with a 55-yard trick play followed by an interception by Tarvaris Jackson. No matter. A defense led by Chris Clemons made sure they didn't need too much scoring to put away the St. Louis Rams. Wide receiver Sidney Rice completed a 55-yard pass to open the game, caught a touchdown pass and drew a pass interference call...

St. Louis Rams (2-7) vs. Seattle Seahawks (3-6)

The St. Louis Rams are on a roll all of a sudden, winning two of their last three games while outscoring their opponents 57-52.  The Seahawks won last weekend 22-17 over the Ravens in Seattle, so they could be in for a letdown.  The Seahawks are 1-4 on the road this year, where they have been outscored 111-69.  Here is a look at the matchups in this game: When the Rams have the...

Rams vs Seahawks Big Plays Big Decisions

No trick plays necessary for the Seattle Seahawks. A punishing defense was more than enough. The offense couldn't get anything going and again wasted a solid defensive effort. Sam Bradford completed just 20 of 40 pass attempts, was sacked five times, fumbled twice and threw an INT. Steven Jackson saw his three-game streak of 100-yard games come to an end with a dismal 42 yards...

Recap: Rams Engulfed By The Seattle Seahawks

The St Louis Rams came into this game riding a small wave of momentum, winning two games and nearly locking up a third in the last three weeks. Steven Jackson had been running as well as he had in any three-game span of his career during that span, cracking the 125 yard mark in all three contests. Naturally, Josh McDaniels did a little self-scouting on the Rams and made the logical...

Film study pays off for Chris Clemons | Seahawks notebook

Seahawks defensive end has three sacks of Rams quarterback Sam Bradford in Sunday's victory.

Seahawks 24, Rams 7

"The NFL need to start fining QB's that throw the ball across my middle..." - Kam Chancellor on Twitter after today's gameIt's easy to discount Seattle's 24-7 win at St. Louis today- I don't deny that the Rams are a franchise in free-fall right now, and Sam Bradford is regressing at such a rapid rate that comparisons to Rick Mirer become more apt with...
