The Eagles showed no heart in Seattle last night and it showed on the scoreboard as the Seahawks took them behind the woodshed!  Vince Young was awful as he threw a pickoff on his first pass last night.  He completed 17 of 29 passes for 208 yards with 1 TD pass and 4 interceptions (one returned 77 yards for a TD by Seahawks’ LB David Hawthorne).  He also carried the ball 5 times for 32 yards (6.4 ypc) in this game.  Lesean McCoy was a warrior last night as he was playing hurt.  He carried the ball 17 times for 84 yards (4.9 ypc) with 1 TD run and he also caught 4 passes for 49 yards (12.3 avg) with a TD grab.  WR Riley Cooper led the way for the Eagles in the passing game last night with 5 grabs for 94 yards (18.8 avg).  Desean Jackson pulled himself from the game last night in the 3rd quarter after catching only 4 passes for 34 yards (8.5 avg).  The Eagles finished up with 132 yards rushing on 25 carries (5.3 ypc) and they also completed 17 of 29 passes (58.6%) for 198 yards ...

DeSean Jackson Ignoring Vince Young on Sidelines (Video)

This use to happen to T.O. all the time. Once the media turns on you all they are doing is looking for opportunities to pile on.  Doesn’t matter if it is a legit or not they are like sharks smelling blood. DeSean Jackson is not in a good place right now and he is getting a rep as a malcontent because of his contract situation. The Eagles are on National TV with the storyline...

Eagles Quit, As Young’s Turnovers Doom Them Against The Seahawks

I just don’t even know what to say. Vince Young was just awful. I truly cannot wait for Michael Vick’s return next Sunday in Miami. Young’s inconsistency and his brutal turnovers are what helped the Eagles drop their second straight. He finished 17 for 29 with 208 yards, one touchdown pass (a shovel pass) and  [...]

Philadelphia Eagles (4-7) vs. Seattle Seahawks (4-7)

The Eagles have been one of the most disappointing teams of the year.  Vince Young dubbed the Eagles the “Dream Team”, but that moniker sure doesn’t fit.  The Eagles have lost three of their last four games as they have not been putting much of an effort up lately.  The Seahawks lost a game that should have won last week against the Redskins, but they are a tough...

Vince Young throws 4 INTs in Eagles loss

Another Nail In The Eagles’ Coffin

Defenders couldn't tackle. Vince Young collapsed down the stretch. Just about everything that could go wrong did for the Eagles who lost 31-14 against the Seahawks. Read more at Philly Sports Daily

Sneak Preview: Eagles at Seahawks

Seahawks 31, Eagles 14

Every talking head on NFL Network's pre-game show picked Philadelphia to defeat the Seahawks tonight, obviously still high on "Dream Team" fumes and ignorant of the progress made by the league's youngest starting line-up in recent weeks. If they had been paying attention, they would have seen that aside from a youth-induced spasm of 3rd-down breakdowns in the 4th...

Seahawks – Eagles Preview

Frustrating to watch.  Periodically brilliant (especially against the Giants).  Terribly injured.  We’re talking about the Seahawks… AND the Eagles.  The Eagles had their sights set on the Super Bowl this year after several high-caliber free agent signings.  Newly-acquired quarterback Vince Young even dubbed Philadelphia “the dream team” in an over-cited quote because...

Seahawks vs. Eagles Keys to the Game

Here are three keys that each team must follow in order to come away with a victory in tonight's game at CenturyLink Field.Philadelphia Eagles:1) Establish the run. With Michael Vick and Jeremy Maclin both out due to injuries, the passing game will be a bit limited with Vince Young under center. If LeSean McCoy is able to play tonight, the Eagles must pound the rock and try to...

What in The World Happened With “The Dream Team?”

“From Nnamdi to Cromartie, to Jason to myself…I know they are going to do some more things. It’s just beautiful to see where we’re trying to go. This is a Dream Team” Ever since backup quarterback Vince Young muttered those words to the press back in August, many of us have felt like the Eagles were destined to fail. After last night’s embarrassing...

NFL Reactor: Seahawks Put Eagles' Dream Season to Bed

What was just an incredibly disappointing season officially lost what sliver of hope remains,as the Philadlephia Eagles were officially eliminated from the postseason race with a 31-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.  Marshawn Lynch took advantage of the Eagles' porous run defense, Tarvaris Jackson played very efficiently, and Vince Young threw four interceptions in the loss....

Marshawn Lynch’s First Touchdown was Turning Points In Eagles’ Loss

Just a bit more than five minutes into the first quarter last night, fresh off the first of Vince Young’s four woeful interceptions, the Eagles’ defense was attempting to limit Seattle to a mere field goal, or, God forbid, force a red zone turnover … [visit site to read more]

Lynch Eats Skittles, Eagles’ Season Over After Loss to Seahawks

I could tell you about the piss poor tackling. I could write about Marshawn Lynch’s stupid 15-yard touchdown run that set the tone. I could talk to you about Vince Young in what appeared to be his last game as a starter before hitting free agency … [visit site to read more]
