The Football Fan Spot:
Seattle Seahawks (2-1) at St. Louis Rams (1-2)
I love to exploit home/road discrepancies so the Seahawks are one of my favorite teams to bet. Since 2007, they are 29-14 ATS at home and 14-28 ATS on the road. Riding that trend is the reason why I’ve selected every Seahawks game correctly this year and for significant units as well. Going on the road to St. Louis this week, I plan to continue using that trend, especially since NFC West teams are just 23-36 ATS on the road over that same time period.
Now onto what happened last week for the Seahawks. Bogus win aside, you can have whatever opinion on what happened, one thing is for sure, the Seahawks really struggled moving the ball. Marshawn Lynch is the only player on this offense I really trust. Russell Wilson is definitely a likeable guy, but the fact is he’s a 3rd round rookie quarterback not getting any help from his receiving corps who is subsequently completing 57.3% of his passes for an average of 5.8 YPA, 4* touchdowns and 1 i...

Earl Thomas is the small guy in a vary large Seattle Seahawks secondary.
At 5’10″, on stilts, and about 200 pounds, soaking wet wearing sponges, he looks out of place when the defense is in the huddle.
Don’t let that fool you. . .
Once the ball is snapped Earl uses his great instincts to get himself into possition to be around the football. Then, Thomas...
While enjoying what is probably a routine post-victory meal at a Seattle steakhouse, Marshawn Lynch and his dinner party came to a realization. According to Yahoo! Sports, Lynch and his crew were surprised when a waitress put the TV on and showed replays of the now infamous Golden Tate touchdown “catch”. Reportedly, Lynch’s “eyes grew big and his jaw dropped low” as they...
The topic of whether the St. Louis Rams should return to L.A. needs to be discussed. St. Louis Rams fans will hate this article, because it threatens your very existence as a fan for the ones who go to the games in St. Louis, MS. However with the actual building of a stadium in Los Angeles, CA, the Rams should be given the opportunity to return to the city the Rams called home for...
Any player/coach in Seattle that really thinks they won that game has zero integrity as a man and should be embarrassed.—

The sports world is still in a huff over Monday night’s enema performed on the Green Bay Packers by the NFL replacement officials.
While nothing topped the Twitter chloroform applied to the league by Green Bay’s...
ST. LOUIS Pete Carroll, the moneybag in his hand, addressed the striped mammoth in the room first.
"No, no," the Seattle Seahawks coach said Wednesday, when asked if he would give back a controversial victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. "We're fortunate we got a win under extreme circumstances, and we feel very fortunate that we got that done."...
St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson (groin) missed his second consecutive practice on Thursday, according to ESPN.
Jackson picked up the injury in week 2 against Washington, and struggled the next week in Chicago.
Daryl Richardson is next in line if Jackson is held out or limited on Sunday's game against Seattle.
Jackson has been a durable running back in...
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By R.B. FALLSTROM AP Sports Writer Looking for a sure thing on offense three games into the Jeff Fisher era with the St. Louis Rams? It might be Greg Zuerlein.
The rookie kicker is 8 for 8 on field goals this season, including a 56-yarder last week - 1 yard shy of the franchise record.
Sam Bradford passed for 310 yards and three touchdowns two weeks ago,...
Just how good are the Seattle Seahawks?
They were balling and harassing Aaron Rogers all night with Chris Clemons and Bruce Irvin obliterating the Packers offensive line, but their offense could not do jack for the majority of the game save a miraculous (and incorrect) game-winning Hail Mary.
When Chris Mortensen of ESPN broke that the NFL and the real referees are very close, the entire nation rejoiced. Finally, the NFL can return to normal and the integrity of the sport that everyone loves because of their attention deficit disorder, fantasy football obsession, and gambling habits can get back to normal.
On Wednesday afternoon, it was not just fans that were...
According to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Rams head coach Jeff Fisher indicated that running back Steven Jackson will be a game-time for this week’s game against the Seahawks.
Jackson has been very limited this week in practice with a groin injury.
Week three is in the books and week four is about to get underway. Last week, the QCS Staff didn’t have our best week as we struggled with all of the upsets but we look to turn it around in week four. Ryan Talbot led the QCS Staff with a 9-7 record in week three. Below is the QCS Staff standings entering week four:
Week 3 Records (overall record):
Ryan Talbot: 9-7 (28-20)
Week three in the NFL was nothing short of spectacular there were a number of surprises coupled with questionable calls from the replacement officials. The Seahawks beat the Packers on a last second hail Mary that was simultaneously caught by a receiver and a defender. The Lions overcame a 14 point deficit with under two minutes to go only to lose in overtime. The Cardinals...
